Morning all and hugs to all who are sad and poorly!!
I went to the butchers last night and bought some fillet steak for a treat on Wednesday evening.....I actually thought the guy was joking when he told me how much it was!!! Unfortunately for me, he wasn't! It'd better be worth it! Although last time I went there I'm pretty sure they under charged me so that makes me feel slightly better!!
Today is a green day:
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B) and banana
Lunch - sort of dyno rod soup, leftover roasties with a bit of leftover tom sauce, jelly (0.5), melon & grapes
Tea - chicken (HEB) and noodle stir fry
snack (as OH is late shift at work again so tea won't be till after 9pm!) - 2 ryvita with cheese (4syns + HEA), also got plenty of fruit if I need anything else.0 -
Thanks guys, I chickened out in the end and had shredded wheat ! :rotfl:
Off swimming shortly but just having a cuppa and a banana boost before I go.......... today's (Green) eating:
B - 28g bitesize shredded wheat (HEB1), 0% greek yoghurt, grapes, tsp honey (1 syn)
L - Jacket potato with baked beans and cheese (HEA1)
D - Mushroom curry from the cookbook, potato bhaji. Dessert will be something with strawbs, not sure yet? I have plenty of syns to use up :j
Snacks - HEB2, banana, mullerlight
HEA2 - MilkSave £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -
Hi all

sorry to hear about your cat blackberry
Green day for me today:
Brekkie:
banana
porridge (HEB1 plus 1 ryvita)
175ml skimmed milk (1/2 HEA1)
pot of tea with 125ml semi skim (1/2 HEA1)
snack: pineapple

A very nice colleague brought me some cardamom seeds and cumin seeds in to work so that I can try a couple of curries without having to spend a fortune on spices I might never use again!:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Hi everyone
I've been reading all your posts for a couple of weeks ago now and there's been some really good tips and recipes!
I've been on and off SW for the last 16 years now. I've lost 7 stonnes on 2 separate occasions but have got pregnant after both times and put it all back on.
I've been doing SW for 2 years on my own now and have lost 5 stonne and re-joined my local class in the New Year as I was struggling to lose anymore on my own.
I've only lost 8lbs since the new year but it is a very slow process with me so I'm hoping that we can all help each other with recipes and menus!
Hope you don't mind a llittle new one joining!!!0 -
BR soz about your cat hun.
Oh well the plan is well and truly up the spout this week, my tummy has been a nightmare, all night and today too, just feel sick, drained and generally awful, mum said it sounds like a bug
I just cant face any food today.0 -
Dontknowanymore - hugs hope you feel better soon. Try to keep drinking, know it's not sw friendly but flat full fat coke does help settle tummy.
NorthYorks - welcome, well done on your weight loss seems joining a class has given you the kickstart you need for the new year. I know that I need to keep going to class even when I get to target as I do feel it helps you stay on plan.
BettyB - sorry you are struggling, could you ensure you have sw friendly snacks to hand so that it is easier to stay on plan?0 -

thanks. I have done just that - got myself some muller lights, bananas, pineapple and strawberries to satisfy my sweet tooth and some ryvita for when i want something crunchy and would usually resort to toast.Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

That really is kind of your colleague. I bought the extra spices I needed for the chicken curry in last month's mag and they cost a bomb! Fortunately the curry was really lovely so I'll definitely use them up. It's bad enough with food prices all going up without extra expense as well.0 -

Exactly! I only asked her where there is an Indian supermarket so I could get them cheap, and she brought some in and said that if I liked them she'd go with me to the place she gets hers to make sure I got the right stuff.
