Afternoon all, hope everyone has had a good day, if not, hope tommorrow is better!
I feel so drained today, don't know what is up with me, so lethargic.
ANyway, went to the Jobcentre today to sign off Income support  and whilst in town I popped into Wilkinsons - I love that shop! Got some plug in smellys etc and picked up a tub of 'evening primrose oil' so going to start taking them, see if they help with my raging mood swings!
Took DS1 to swimming lessons and stopped at the chippy on the way home, got them sausage and chips and got myself a curry sauce, so going to have that with HM chips for tea, really can't be arsed to cook something proper.
Ooh and my tofu came today so going to try the choccie pudding, and they delivered my ASDA lamb rogan josh (6syns) so going to have that and make some HM onion bargies this week, I think I can get away with having half the curry and freezing the other half, there looks loads!0 -
Am feeling double sorry for myself though now.....I had a bit of toothache last night-well more my bottom jaw was a bit tender, but my tooth hurt when I brushed it or ate on it (it has a large temporary filling thats been there about 12 months but because it held well he just left it as it was) but I was due to have it re done on the 28th with another little one.
That's a good thing isn't it.:rotfl: Sorry, don't mean to sound unsympathetic. At my group we're even pleased for people who get a tummy bug!
To chime in on the staying to the group thing: I stay because fortunately I have the time and the people there are really nice so we enjoy a chat. Last week I had to go a different group and as I didn't know anyone it was very boring waiting for all the weighing to end so I sympathise. I think, like many things, even though there is a formula to the way SW groups are run to get consistency, some consultants are better than others at generating discussion and spreading ideas. Ours is a pleasant woman but she relies very heavily on the formula. My pet hate is congratulating people on their total weightloss even tho' you may have put on that week. It's squirmingly embarassing. I think the standard of questions/discussion/advice on here is much better.:D
So newtonabbeymum, they'll soon get used to the fact that you don't stay. If that's what suits you then go for it. Other options would be becoming an online member instead or just 'going it alone' with the books.0 -
Hi everyone, just popping in to thank Skintslimmer again for the great chart she has produced to help motivate us into losing more weight!! It's lovely (I just hope my feet and legs don't look like the ones on the scales!!!) - only joking, thanks again.
Well done to all the losers and big hugs to the strugglers (me included!)
Dizzy keep that wagon revved up!!!! xx0 -
Thanks for the chart skintslimmer. Sorry to be so dense, what do I do with it?0

My goal is 2lb a week and have 3.5 stone to lose, as 5 ft and have back problems so the weight really affects my back, i hate gyms, and main excercise is walking and when i go i do enjoy its just getting myself going!!!!
breakfast 2 cups tea and porrige made with water and milk from allowance
lunch sw chips and beans and a egg
tea veg frittata, muller yogurt banana and cup tea
all free on green
Hi Karren, as others have said (more or less) you need to eat MORE! get some snacks down you, and syn something you enjoy, life's for living as well as slimming. I know what you mean about walking, once I make the effort to go out I do enjoy it.
Morning all!
Just been asked by work to speak at a conference in Abu Dhabi - very excited but also kinda nervous, I've never been to the middle east.My good news is not weight per se but inches - I've lost 6 overall since 1st JanMy weigh in is Weds so not looking forward to seeing the damage from the weekend on the scales.

Big hugs for all people who need them, and can I please have a little share of the hugs myself as I got home to find my dear sweet cat, Micky (Mick Jagger) had died. I was kind of expecting it, he's been not himself for about 4 days ... but I am still very very sad
( For someone so self-effacing there's a big gap in the flat tonight - usually he would be on my knee or right against the pc; occasionally demanding to be let out/in the front door as he preferred to go the long way round for a wee then back in thru the cat flap. I miss him. Micky came to live with me the week my mum died in 1995, bringing home to me that it's 16 years since I saw my lovely Mum too
