Big hugs BR, our pets become part of the family so its like losing a child [know that feeling]. Keep thinking of all the good times and smile through the tears. Thinking of you x x x

I didnt stay last week and wont be staying this week either, mostly work related problems and needing to get home for food lol!
Also at my group I have got there on time, sat around for over and hour whilst everyone got weighed and then had 20mins talk about how much everyone has lost...very boring and could be doing so much more. I have mentally made decision to not stay for group whilst I am continuing to loose weight but may stay when/if weight loss stops.
Personally I think its worth staying for a few weeks just to make sure you are getting the hang of the scheme and then decide, is there another group you could try and see if its run better?

I do think you get more for your money if you stay ... but it takes some worming your way in iyswim. No-one (as far as I can tell) speaks to the newbies much! I try to make the effort as I remember that first week sitting there like a lemon. anyway, I now spend the waiting time more fruitfully talking to others and getting hints and ideas, and passing others on, and I also take my knitting so time is not wasted! If you could see your way to turning up at the last minute, then staying for at least some of the meeting, I think you might get to like it. The clapping is only a token, though sometimes the whole group is so happy with a success that it is genuine cheering :D:D:D As someone muttered to me once "It's like being in a cult".
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Sorry to hear about your moggie blackberry, sending a big hug xxx

I was wondering if someone could answer a quick question for me. For brekkie if I have porridge I need to have a scan bran too ..... can you crumble it into the porridge or is that just ughhhhhh !!??

Majjak, I crumble it into the porridge (as fine as you can get it) before I microwave it - it's a bit like having some All Bran added! I then add fruit (strawberries, mixed red berries etc.) and I don't really notice it - I don't eat scan bran any other way 'cos I don't really like it! Hope this helps!

Blackberry - sorry to hear about your cat. My son has a collection of cats and he has lost 3 in the past so I know how upsetting it can be - they all have their own personalities which can't be replaced.

Thanks for the chart skintslimmer. Sorry to be so dense, what do I do with it?

:D Print it out, stick it on your fridge or wall, and colour in/cross off/stick stickers on each star/segment on the scales every time you lose a lb. I've been extra sad and coloured in half a star on mine because I'm on a 1/2 lb at the mo! :rotfl:

Cinema ice cream avoidance complete - only just! My friends went for the pic and mix, and it was a close run thing what with me leaving my diet 7up in the fridge at home (:o) and we went to the cinema which does these amazing Ben and Jerry's sundaes *drool*. I just kindof stood and stared longingly before sighing and turning my back on them!! :A

Still not entirely sure whether I'll lose much this week, even so. I've had a full up 15 syns every day, except for one where it was just over 20. However, I have done shed loads of exercise, so hopefully that's got to count for something.
