Dizzyk - good luck with your physio and where do you get all your smilies from they are great.

well last night I planned ahead and made my lunch for today.... now for the rest of you this may be the routine way to do things, however I am officially the most disorganised person when it comes to myself, I even have a fridge magnet that says so :rotfl:
so for lunch as today is EE I'm having some cous cous with loads of veg and bacon yum yum.
I have even :A (polishes halo) prepared tea for tonight and transformed our leftover bolognaise into chilli con carne.
I have finally discovered that with a little thought and effort I can be almost organised.

    Long may it continue :T

as long as the synful fairies stay away I may have a decent weight loss this first week.

Welcome back LoonyL (cant say the last bit as I have a terrible phobia of those animals ....wont even eat it as they scare me so much :o)

Yup I do think a little bit of meal planning definately helps, Im not the worlds most organised person either....but I do like to plan a full days meals the day before if poss - but this doesnt usually happen until the morning :o (but I'm at home all day which makes things a bit easier for me i suppose)

I would have to kill you if I told you where I got my smilies :D

Hi newtownabbeymum. You must do what feels right for you. Nobody can make you stay.

I know what you mean about the queues. My group on wednesday mornings is now my consultant's biggest group EVER.

Apparently (sp) 70 people signed in last week. Approximately 40 stayed, still a lot.

I personally stay every week as at the moment as I am not working (hope that changes soon then I will go to her Wednesday evening group) I feel I want more for my money than jumping on someone else's scales.
You now have the books. You might feel with the support of all the friendly and knowledgeable people on here that this is all you need.

Or another thought go 20 minutes later, queues should be less.

    Hi

Wonder if anyone can give me a bit of advise? i have just joined SW club and we meet every Tuesday. So far i have been to 2 meetings. the problem is that im not overly keen on the meetings. the queue is very long which i dont mind standing in but when i finally get weighed i am asked every week if im staying for the talk and when i say no becuase i never have the time to stay after qing im made to feel guilty etc i also dont like the happy clappy aspect of it. but i really need to lose the weight!! just want to go, get weighed discreetly and then go!!

So far I've only stayed three times at my group. I find I come out more determined when I stay, but I just don't have time to fit it in. I don't feel guilty though, I think its up to the individual to find out what works best for them.

I didnt stay last week and wont be staying this week either, mostly work related problems and needing to get home for food lol!
Also at my group I have got there on time, sat around for over and hour whilst everyone got weighed and then had 20mins talk about how much everyone has lost...very boring and could be doing so much more. I have mentally made decision to not stay for group whilst I am continuing to loose weight but may stay when/if weight loss stops.
Personally I think its worth staying for a few weeks just to make sure you are getting the hang of the scheme and then decide, is there another group you could try and see if its run better?

You will definately get more out of it if you stay to class, Image therapy is where you often pick up hints & tips to keep you on the straight & narrow, and keep you focussed for the week ahead. You may also get to find out new food ideas from others that you hadnt thought of.....try it, it may not be as bad as you think.

If you dont like standing in the Queues for so long then (as has already been said) why go so early? why not go just before the last weigh in time? ;)

Well folks I survived physio....threw with the big head movements smiley-sad006.gif:o

But the mad ball thrower wasnt on duty today.....so I didnt have to resort to any sort of violence smiley-violent081.gif

Am feeling double sorry for myself though now.....I had a bit of toothache last night-well more my bottom jaw was a bit tender, but my tooth hurt when I brushed it or ate on it (it has a large temporary filling thats been there about 12 months but because it held well he just left it as it was) but I was due to have it re done on the 28th with another little one.

Anyhooo this morning I decided to ring the dentist to see if they would see me today because it was really quite bothersome still and I can feel a lump on my gum. Went after Physio & Ive got a piggin absess (sp?) AND because the tooth is infected (it hurts to touch it) its gotta come out rather than fill it  I soooo hate the dentists when its more than a check up :(smiley-sick028.gif
  • Sorry you threw up and now have got an abcess, Dizz :(

Mr Tesco gave me a valentines present or two! In addition to my own order, I am now the bemused owner of:

2 large boxes of crunchy nut cereal
3 (!!!) 2l bottles of full fat coke
    1 bottle of red wine

Told the delivery driver who really wasn't interested, so I have been trying to give them away all day - without much luck! Of course, the red wine has made itself at home with other bottles, so that'll have to stay, but I bet the cereal is expensive in syns, and I'm definately not drinking the coke. Neither is anyone else it seems; I've managed to rehome one bottle, but only as a cleaner for some silverware! :rotfl:

My food diary today:, on EE for a change:

b: smash, philly light (b), ham, red pepper (yes yes, I'm weird!)
    apple
l: uncle bens spicy mexican rice (4) with red pepper & lettuce & ham.
Decided I was low on superfrees, so had a bowl of cottage cheese with gherkin, cucumber, garlic, lettuce and red pepper
d: Tesco's finest lamb shank with roasted veggies (guessing at 4 syns) and spinach with mascapone (bit "grr" to find out i can't take this from healthy extra allowance. so... 6?) and Nobbies in honour or MrsM! :D

Cinema tonight, and aren't I just the saint, I've bought small bottles of diet 7 up so I don't have to a) pay ridic prices there and b) get ice cream! :p

In fact, I'd better go and put them on the stove now...

Loonylamb I have the implanon implant fitted, never had an issue with it weight wise, I wouldn't say I'm the fastest ever loser on SW, I've lost 11lb in 6 weeks which I'm really pleased with, I probably have another two stone to lose.
