Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I've been for the fundraising lunch for the animal sanctuary - really nice food!

Friends did the cooking and the salsa was syn free - friend brought me a pack of weight watchers nacho style snacks to have instead of the nachos.

The main was fine SW wise as bean chilli fat free with a jacket

I said I'd not resist pud and was right - vegan choc pud - like a large slice of swiss roll style pud with cherry yoghurt style sauce, I dread to think how many syns but to me it was a delicious treat so I really enjoyed it! Back on the plan now!

I have brought tiffin/shortbread and cookies to support the rescue but won't eat any - got them to take to work to share out. It's good how I can decide to have one pud but then ignore other items now - means I'm in control:)

Booked in for Zumba tomorrow - just hoping a more flexi weekend will boost my metabolism and not add pounds on but will see at weigh in.

Had a lie in this morning. Not sure but I don't think I'm enjoying my vino collapso as much any more confused.gif Felt carp at 5am this morning as if a hangover was kicking in but I only had 2 glasses last night frown.gif Is this how chocoholics feel when they are on a diet??

So today I have been enjoying:

    (Red Day)

Brekkie: Bacon and tomato toastie (HEB); fresh fruit salad and Activia FF yogurt

Lunch was very late after shopping in Asda (note to self: do NOT go to Asda when hungry!)

Lunch: Salami (1 syn), Prosciutto (1/2 syn), sundried tomato (1.5 syn), Ryvita x2 (HEB), philadelphia light (HEA), glass of white wine & diet lemonade (4 syns)

Tea: Slow cooked lamb with passata, garlic, stock, worcestershire sauce, carrots, onions, with sweet potato & cabbage on the side

Drinks today: Coffee x2, water x3, wine & lemonade x1

Feeling good smile.gif Had a lovely weekend smile.gif

    Total syns: 7 biggrin.gif

... (Will I be reporting an increase of syns due to vino collapso tomorrow? Watch this space!)

hope the hangover disappears soon

just noticed you have your philly light as a HEA.....you can only have it as a HEB on green days otherwise you have to syn it :(

Its been causing confusion with us all for a while now :o

Had a bad day yesterday, sat waiting for my shopping to arrive and it didn't so hubby rang and turns out I'd ordered for today [I swear blind I'd clicked saturday :o] so that made me mad. I'd also wanted to make rice pud [saved my HEAs for it] got everything ready then found id no rice  [burst into tears] calmed down and thought ok had ordered some more so would do it later, then the mix up [so burst into tears again].

So as you can imagine I was a donkey on the edge all day, my excuse [if I need one] is its the anniversary of my sons death this wednesday and its all close to the surface. Its also * week coming up too. The only good thing is its a week til half term :D.
    Thinking of you TakeItEazy.

Evening all, have I missed MrsM or hasn't she posted today?

Just having my gorrrrrrjus rice pud, its been cooking all afternoon and tastes and looks like Ambrosia yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Was hoping it will last a couple of days but don't think it will as son had a big bowlful and hubby hasn't had his yet.

Also made a quiche for lunches this week so all set for tomorrow now. Thank you all for the hugs think I'm going to need them this week. :A:A:A:A

  • My food diary:

lie in - slept through brekkie, which may explain my lunch...
uncle ben's spicy mexican rice (4) and salad, with reduced fat houmus (b), cheese (a).
Then exactly the same again! (b&a&4)
HM veg soup (welll.... as HM as prepared vegetables gets ;)) x 2
Philly light - didn't weigh the portion, so am guessing 6 syns.

Sloe gin & diet tonic is calling to me desperately from the kitchen.. might measure out 1/2 a measure of sloe gin (1.5) so that I'm only 0.5 above 15 syns today. There was me thinking I would be very low syns today to make up for yesterday :o:o:o

Cinema tomorrow with the girls - to see "Paul" - can't wait, it looks so funny! However, I must resist the food in the cinema. I must write this out several times before tomorrow.

Finally got through my tesco online food shop - its taken about 4 days! :o Complicated flipping thing  There may have been a valentines meal deal in there, which is probably a million zillion syns. Put it this way, the chocolate desserts are 600 calories each!
I was thinking I'd give one of the desserts to my housemate, and eat the other just after weigh in. The main course is lamb shank with gravy and roasted veggies, so not too bad hopefully. its the sparkling rose wine which I must watch myself with! ;)

Had a good (green) day today.
    HEA1: milk in tea
Breakfast: egg muffin (nice), potato rosti, onion, 2 x Morrisons meat-free sausages= 1 syn (I won't be buying these again, horrible)
Lunch: Rosti pizza (free) with a goats cheese babybel on top (3.5 syn)
Snack: 2x Digestive lights (7 syns), 2 x Alpen light (HEB)
Dinner: Vegetable biriyani (adapted a Delia recipe), raita made using fat free yogurt, salad. HEB for 1 tbspn olive oil
That leaves me a HEA. I might count the babybel as a HEA, cuts down my syns total.
I have drunk lots and lots of water this weekend, need to up the fruit I think although I have had loads of vegetables.
Feeling quite carp tonight as it is back to work tomorrow. My job is really getting me down at the moment, but I suppose I should be thankful to have one at the moment.
