    Congrats dizzy - that's great news :j

WI tonight and I gained 0.5lb  think it must be all the lemsip I am drinking! Annoying as I had stuck to plan but need to keep taking lemsip as it's the only think that helps.

    :D

Um, I'm guessing you've already done it, but see the recipe on lil_genuis' recipe thread :D

Just done Davina's DVD with housemate. Decided to be "clever" and try doing some of the leg stuff. 5 minutes in we both heard an almighty crunch and a bit of pain in my leg - decided that wasn't a good idea, and did the rest sitting down. Held weights while doing it though! ;)

PS doesn't appear to be any harm done to leg!

Oh, and update on the dyno soup minus baked beans and tomatoes, but plus chopped up gammon: phwoar! It was flipping lurvely! Kinda like pea and ham soup (I used lentils) but with lots of other lovely bits in.. Methinks the rest of the pan won't be lasting too long :D
Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels
  • Well done Dizzy and Lil_me, and commiserations to Primmer, I find one almost always gains when taking cough/cold remedies :o perhaps you could do a Great Big Productive Sneeze?

sorry ... on that thought I'm off to bed :rotfl:
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

    Good day today on EE:

    Breakfast:
2 slices Warburtons Wholemeal (400g loaf, HEB) and half a can baked beans, banana, apple, plum, rasberries, strawberries
    Lunch:
Savoury Rice with prawns, chilli and lettuce, Activia Snackpot Strawberry, apple, plum, kiwi
    Dinner:
Rump steak with jacket spud, blackberries, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, fat free vanilla yoghurt, glass of milk (HEA).
    Zero syns.

Approx. 40 minutes on the Wii (not ideal but better than doing nothing).

Plan to run a 10k tomorrow after work, then home to do some decorating!
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Well I managed to survive my first day! Thanks for the kind welcome!

    Tomorrow I'm thinking I'm going to have;

    Breakfast - yoghurt and fruit

Lunch - scrambled eggs on toast or mushroom omlette

Tea - veggie stir fry with hoisin sauce

Snacks - fruit, yoghurt, maybe a nescafe vanilla coffee, not sure what else yet!

    hea - probably 2 x 350 ml milk
heb - probably 2 x small loaf wholemeal bread and 2 x alpen light bars

    Does this sound okay?

I heard there's a Zumba fitness game coming out on the wii soon, sounds exciting! I also need to go to the Doctors as this area runs an 'exercise on prescription' scheme which sounds really good, has anyone had experience of this?

Loving the sound of SW quiche, will pick up some bits and have a go at making it soon! Thank you!
