Morning all
Having my first 'green' day today so I may need a bit of help from all you lovely experienced slimmers
Not 100% sure about food yet but it will probably go along the lines of:
B - Banana, 0% greek yoghurt, honey
L - Egg noodles (are these free on green??), stir fry vegetables, stir fry sauce (need to check syn values and buy one), mullerlight
D - Quorn sausages, jacket potato, cheese (HEA1), baked beans
Snacks - probably HEBs and more fruit
Milk - HEA2

Morning all. I'm very excited as I have my hair trial and first dress fitting for my wedding this afternoon! I've had to get up extra early and come in to work for 6am so I can leave early!! Ended up having a pack of pasta and sauce as a snack yesterday as I was starving when I got in from work and I knew tea was going to be late. I don't really like having anything as big as that for a snack but it was all I had and I knew it would be far better than what I'd grab from the cupboard once I got to Mum's house!! I did only have a couple of syns for some gravy though so that should make up for it.
I'm going green again today, tea is at OH's mum's so I don't know what it'll be but she only does teeny servings of meat so it'll be ok for my 2nd HEB!
brekkie - banana, porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - jacket potato, beans, plums
Tea - ??? (HEB+ syns)0 -
Morning Everyone

Lunch-not sure yet:o home made soup, maybe... apple pear

Today looked like this in the end (EE):
Porridge (5), skim milk (A), sugar (1)
Apple, Fibre plus bar (B)
Rice, peppers, tomatoes, quorn sausages
Pasta, passata, peppers, prawns
Chocolate (8)
Hi Katy, Just a little reminder that on EE days you need to get 1/3 of your plate to be superfree. It looks like you have got some superfree in there (apple, tomatoes, peppers) but maybe think about increasing the proportions of those a little?thevicster wrote: »Well I managed to survive my first day! Thanks for the kind welcome!
Tomorrow I'm thinking I'm going to have;
Breakfast - yoghurt and fruit
Lunch - scrambled eggs on toast or mushroom omlette
Tea - veggie stir fry with hoisin sauce
Snacks - fruit, yoghurt, maybe a nescafe vanilla coffee, not sure what else yet!
hea - probably 2 x 350 ml milk
heb - probably 2 x small loaf wholemeal bread and 2 x alpen light bars
Does this sound okay?
It sounds ok but which plan are you going to follow? Since you are havign two of each healthy extra I assume you'll be doing either red or green, so have either some lean meat (red) with your dinner, or maybe some egg noodles or rice.
Remember to syn the vanilla coffee and hoisin sauce, and check that the type of yoghurt you are using is free, because not all brands and flavours are.
B - Banana, 0% greek yoghurt, honey
L - Egg noodles (are these free on green??), stir fry vegetables, stir fry sauce (need to check syn values and buy one), mullerlight
D - Quorn sausages, jacket potato, cheese (HEA1), baked beans
Snacks - probably HEBs and more fruit
Milk - HEA2
Does that look ok?
Yes (I'm pretty sure) all dried egg noodles are free on green. If you use fresh they have oil in so are quite high in syns.
Mmm, need to buy some of them soon, its been ages since I've had stir fry! Thanks for the reminder! :T
I was ravenous this morning, so wolfed down my A and B choice of weetabix and milk!I'll have some fruit for mid-morning and have lunch earlyish because I'm going shopping with friends today and don't want to get caught out! I'll take a trusty hifi bar too for just in case.
I'm so motivated to exercise this week its crazy, think its the determination to do it because my broken leg is saying I can't (bit like wanting chocolate when you are told you can't have any!). Its a little sore this morning, but my reasoning is if its not painful enough to take a painkiller its not coming to any harm!
So I'll do some weights in a bit, toddle around Chester shopping, and maybe do Davina tonight sat down again.
Oh, and I want a 5lb loss this week, that might be driving the exercise thing too.;):D OK I might not get anything like that, but if I did that means I am under the next stone barrier!

Thank you skintslimmer, the egg noodles are indeed dried. I wasn't sure as in my book it just says noodles, was worried they meant rice noodles or something else.
Food today is now sorted:

D - Quorn sausages, mashed potato, baked beans, 5 laughing cow light (HEA1), peas

Milk - HEA2
I still have quite a lot of syns to use (I found this happened when I did a red day last week too). I might have to have a glass of wine tonight thenSave £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -
