  • Consultant, it's good to see you, and I do hope your mother's health improves. If you lived closer to me I'd come and sort out your ironing pile for you. I am quite possibly the only person in the world to love ironing.

Oh goodness, I'll sell up and move to wherever you are :rotfl::rotfl:
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • Ok so the panfake was ok, I just used 1 egg, seperated it and mixed a small bit of the yolk with the white, added sweetner and vanilla flavouring, fried and served with strawberries and light quirty cream (0.5syn), it did hit the spot for something that was virtually syn free.

I love this - it's the perfect word for any recipes that are slimming 'copies' of the fattening stuff :rotfl::rotfl:

Meatballs and pasta were nice, though sauce was a bit salty. Guess i'm heavy handed!

Just having a cuppa and 2 alpen lights for my other B.

Have now used both A+B and 5.5 syns.

    (to the Vicster)

It sounds ok but which plan are you going to follow? Since you are havign two of each healthy extra I assume you'll be doing either red or green, so have either some lean meat (red) with your dinner, or maybe some egg noodles or rice.

But (and this is where I too get confused with Red & Green so I stick to EE) she cannot have some lean meat or some noodles to make her day into a green or red day because the meat would be a HEB on green and the noodles would be a HEB on red and need to be measured, so she could not have the two planned HEBs, only one lot plus the meat or noodles.

Hope this makes sense. I know what I mean. ;)

currently mmmmm noshing on raw baby sweetcorn - evening all!

I'm wondering if Consultant could add a link to the Recipe thread on her first post, then if anyone asks we can just point them to page one on this thread rather than be forever looking it up and posting the link. Maybe i'm just idle :rotfl:

I have really messed up my syns calculations today. Lesson: don't eat something then look up the syns (um, a creme egg.....).
I am just going to try to limit the damage and still enjoy my PIZZA tonight (WM base, HEB x 2). I have bought some own brand smash to try the smash pizza, but I am going for the trad version tonight.

Just been to asda and stocked up on their Chickpea Dahl, the tinned one. Noticed that the packaging has changed and I think the recipe might be different. It's now 119 cals per 100g, and 3.9g fat. I thought it was less than this? Does anyone have a tin to compare? I'm worried it won't be free anymore!

I just looked on Asda website and they are showing the old cans, and the calories/fat has increased. Boo!
