Why are weekends more difficult than week days when it comes to staying with the plan. I can't even use the excuse that I work! (Job situation in Devon is dire)
DH has gone to see his beloved Chelsea play Liverpool leaving me alone with nothing planned (eating or leisure).
Doing red til next weigh day hoping it will shift the 3½lb I gained from * week.
2 weetabix (HB)
350ml sk milk (HA)
salmon fillet
veg
Don't know what else yet will update later0 -
I can beat you there dizzy I put on 10lbs in 2 weeks (Nov 2010).
I had beakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and finally a midnight snack on the way back to our room. All inclusive of course.
Looking to go to Borneo in March (to celebrate my 50th year on this planet). There isn't an all inclusive option in any of the hotels.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that makes me feel a bit better about my excess baggage that I brought back nowBut the food was just toooo good to refuse....and it would have been rude not to
:rotfl:
Borneo eh! thats very exciting and adventurous :T Im far too lazy for thatwere looking at either cuba or the maldives next (depending on Mr Dizzys overtime lol) I'd personally go back to Mexico again...but its time for a change I reckon, as he is getting a little bored as weve done most of the trips (theres some I cant do with the walking)

I went to Lily Beach (Maldives) in 2005, if you want a laid back holiday then this is the place to go. We were able to walk around the island in 20mins.0 -

Ooooh I never knew this !! thanksI will try this next time I go to WI, Mr Dizzy has a habit of coming home from work and having '5 mins' on the sofa and is fast asleep when I get back instead of turning the pans on
(cant really tell him off when he's been up since 5am tho I dont suppose ) and I dont have a slow cooker as my kitchen space is sooooo small I have no room....its one of these open plan apartment things - lovely for me to get around safely but not practical really for storage
WI for me today!
4lbs down!
I said at the start of this journey I will give it a month and see what happens. Seems 13lbs will keep me going for a bit longer
WOOOHOOOOO !!!!! well done that woman there :T:T:T:D

Hi Confused. We stayed at the Azul Sensatori
http://www.karismahotels.com/resort/azul-sensatori-hotel-karisma
It is in between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. It is a really lovely hotel and spotlessly clean. There are staff continually cleaning and picking up after you. All you really need to move for is to get food and have a wee (:D) If you are on the beach there is a beach butler that comes to get your drinks order and bring them back (same when you are around the pools) There is a beach BBQ too so you really don't need to move. There are 6 restaurants, only 1 of them being the buffet style the other 5 you order from the menu (2 being a set menus - gormet & tapas) There are 3 swim up bars and then another 3 bars around the resort. The all inclusive includes premium drinks too and serve from 9am - 2am. Food is from 6.30am - 1am. The only extras would be the spa treatments.
If you are without kids there is a dedicated adults pool with swim up bar and cabana beds. Kids wondered in a couple of times and they were asked to go back to the family section (all very nice about it) which is massive and there is also a smaller kids activity pool too.
I really recommend the hotel, the staff are sooo friendly and will do anything for you, the only thing is there is no-where to go to wander to on an evening as it is just a strip of hotels with bush surrounding them. So if you like wandering around in the evening it probably isn't for you. I usually do if I was with OH but I was with friends as we just wanted to chillax for a week. We used the hotel shuttle to Playa though and that was good.

keep forgetting why I logged on here (empty head lol)
yesterday went fairly ok foodwise and I stayed within syns again (just, I did have an alpen light & a choc option drink which just saw mw squeeze through bang on the nose at 15)....yay go me !!!!!
On the downside Ive still got a sharp pain in my left lung when I breathe so its a def call to the doc in the morn as Ive just taken the last of my steroids and the ANtiB's are all finished.
Today will be an EE day again (well this is the plan thus far)
B bacon tom 1 slice wm large loaf HEB
milk for teas HEA
L Dyno Rod soup clementines x2 plum x2
T smoked haddock_pale_ (hate it hate it) potatoes peas carrots
part frozen ww dessert recipe yog nomnomnom melon? maybe?
you might ask why am I having smoked haddock if I hate it so much? yeah well Im asking myself that too  But Mr Dizzy makes me eat fish now and again (a.) because its good for me (b.) because he likes fish (c.) he eats some of the cr*p I put in front of him without him complaining....:rotfl::rotfl:cheeky git !!
Right off to do something constructive.....like look at the ironing basket - and hope the fairies will do something with it:D

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Tripadvisor... my 2nd favourite too!! I have been on there already to check out some ideas for me and OH to go somewhere. I am thinking of a multi-centre in the Far East/Indian Ocean a city and beach combo or Cuba with Havana/Beach. I like killing several birds with one stone type of holiday
BUT I will have to wait a while as OH has just been made redundant from his job here in Warsaw but they have put him in Bulgaria for 3 months so that has given us 3 months breathing space to find another job or they could extend Bulgaria but we REALLY don't want to live there. He has enquired about one in the Bahamas (oooo I'd love that) or we may think of Australia as my friend there says the economy doesn't seem to have taken as much of a hit there as we all have. So if we go to a far away place we won't have a holiday. The UK is v tough for his kind of work so no real chance of going home. We have to go where the work is.
keep your fingers crossed for us everyone."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
WI today and I FORGOT til after I'd eaten breakfast, how on earth did that happen. I have 'sometimers' :rotfl:. Anyway WI and gained 2.5lb, not unexpected just not sure how much was due to brekkie. Probably none knowing my luck
.
Back to work tomorrow [if I can manage the walk over the foot bridge] Will be going with hubby to walk the dog this afternoon to see how my chest copes with the walk.
Well done on the losses peeps, onwards and downwards :T.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
