all the fat free ones in the small pots 4 pack/8pack are free. But the snack pot ones - the peach are 1/2 syn each

Thanks dizzy, just back from Asda. The FF ones are £1.00 for 4 (normally £1.60). I bought 4 different flavours + 2 packs raspberries on whoopsie.

sorry to hear about hubs job Trixie :( what does he do? hey would be nice living in Oz tho eh ;)....bit warmer than where you are now  Its funny you should say about cuba & the 2 centre holiday....we were looking at the same thing to include havana :)

He's a Quantity Surveyor so in construction and there are not many big things being built at the moment as no one is lending money for them or warey of doing so. It will pick up eventually.

We've got friends who did the Havana and Beach Cuban holiday last year or the year before and they loved it. They booked through The Holiday Place. Who seem to have reasonable prices for far away holidays. I'd like to go before America and them make friends and it all starts to change.

maman, On SW website 142ml tesco beef gravy granules, as made up = 2.5 syns, I had 50ml but made it runnier just to be on the safe side !
See I got confused with this, I always put 142ml in a jug, then add gravy granules to taste, I cant abide runny gravy.
Now in theory I could put in 5+TBSP which using the 'per TBSP' rule would work out at 5 syns, so why is it so different?!
  • Afternoon all

I'm sitting here trying to do uni work and desperately avoiding a big bag of Mars Planets that I know are lurking somewhere in my flat! My dizzyness is still here, which is making the uni work hard as I need to concentrate! But it's got to be done.

I've checked my freezer and I have enough homemade syn free soups in there to have everyday for lunches this week which is great :)

    Green day for me:

    B - large grapefruit, banana
L - pasta bake (cheese = HEA), salad, LF coleslaw (3.5syns), light salad cream (2syns)
    D - 2 x wholemeal rolls (2 x HEB), 2 x tesco veggie burgers (1syn), onions fried in frylight, LF ketchup (4syns), LF mayo (2syns)
Snacks - pear, leftover roast spuds,
Drinks - coffee (skimmed milk = HEA), fizzy water, squash

    Total syns = 12.5

I really want the dizzyness to go away so I can get back to the gym, not been for 10 days now :(

I think it is made up according to the instructions on the packet. Mine says 4 heaped tsps per 280ml of hot water. So I would say half of that would be the 142ml made up syn value.

I too like thick gravy so use more than the made up suggestion so count mine per tsp

  • I've just got back from the shops... I was walking around Carrefour and could hear a strange tweeting sound (bearing in mind this is in the middle of a shopping centre) looked up and saw about 5 little !!!!!! dicks flying around!! Most odd. No-one else seemed to notice and I know they were there honest!

Anyway in the fruit section there was a big tray of little bobbly fruit on offer had no idea what they were so bought a few to test. They look like mini pine cones and are a pinkish colour, they are a little bigger than acorns and the same sort of shape. I've cut one in half and they have a big stone in the middle and whiteish flesh round the edge that looks a bit like an eyeball. ANY IDEAS WHAT THEY ARE?????

Oh dear :o lol Oh well, I know now for later! :rotfl:
Saying that I guess 2 heaped TBSP would be enough in 142ml.
