WI for me today, I stayed the same, but after the comfort eating of the last few days and * week I'm very grateful for that and probably deserved worse, I can't beleive I've made it five weeks without a gain.

The comfort eating was a strange one, I did kind of plan for it but it started out with one day and turned into three, I didn't really enjoy the food it was definitely a brain thing rather than a tummy/taste bud thing :( so I'm glad to be back to normal. I don't go back to work until a week on Thursday though so plenty of time to brood about things, I'm planning to go to the gym everyday, even if its just for 20 mins on the cross trainer so I'm hoping that will help with the feelings, I seem to be sinking into a bit of depression.

Whoever asked about the gravy, I use Bisto gravy powder (which apart from their veggie gravy is the only vegetarian one strangely), I'm not a veggie but was for 12 years so I guess it stuck, its 0.5 syns per tsp which is just enough for most meals, if I'm having something like mashed swede with veggies I like it to swim in gravy so use two tsps, as its just me I make it up in a cup.

    Are all Activia yoghurts free?
  • Afternoon all, thanks very much to Dizzy and Jill for hotel information, sounds great although may be a little pricey for me - I'll definitely check them out though.

Well done Magnolia - great loss.

Have a good afternoon everyone. x

In an attempt to get some enthusiasm back, I have planned my evening meals until Wednesay: we get our vegetable box on Thursday so will then plan the next week. All green as I am vegetarian.
Sunday: Onion and feta filo tart (recipe is adapted from honey's thread on minimims - her's uses goats cheese babybel, has anyone had these? Are they any good?). Baked butternut squash to go with it, maybe wedges. grated carrot salad
Monday: Pasta, purple kale, garlic, chilli, feta. Tomato, cucumber, oregano and onion salad
Tuesday: Vegetarian pad thai (sort of!) using 1/2 red pepper, leeks, cabbage, quorn chicken pieces. Carrot salad
Wednesday: Rosti pizza (from Honey's thread again, she is my new food hero) using 1/2 red pepper, low fat Mozzarella. Tomato and cucumber salad.

Lunches will be jp and beans or possibly sandwiches if I can get hold of some WW Danish. I am going to try Sainsbury's at Thetford to see if they have it.
Breakfasts will be vanilla yog and crunchy bran and fruit.
Treats: frozen mullers - I got that idea from this thread, can't remember who suggested it but it is great. muller, fruit and meringue.
    Good luck this week everyone!

no probs hun.....my consultant is fab, she doesn't mind a text/call whatever time of the day it is.

Oooh forgot to say I found out from her when I text in sick that the news at class last week was SW are launching their own range of foods into "A" supermarket this year (dont know which one yet) but it will be like the WW ones where the pre cooked meal is all worked out with the syn value on the different plans :):T fab eh! that will be good for when time is short and you need a quick simple meal to grab & go :D

Another decent gym session for me, but I really need to start running more than 6km in a session, it's not enough :(
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.
