I was reading this month's magazine today and it had a free recipe in there that used balsamic dressing. It suprised me, who makes it? Also an Asda GFY Coronation cottage cheese which had raisins in was also free??
P.S. Apologies, I just checked, it was 1 syn for a slice of parma ham (wrapped round asparagus) and a drizzle of balsamic dressing. Balsamic vinegar would have worked just as well, why bother?Hello folks,
Nice to meet you all.
You too Cranky, good luck on the programme.0 -

If I don't have a massive gain this week it'll be a miracle. Hopefully be back on the wagon once I'm back at work.

TakeItEazy - do you mind me asking why you carry on eating that way if you're a target member? I thought Slimming World was about teaching healthy habits and making a lifelong change, so would you say the plan has been successful?
I promise this isn't a loaded question, and I know it sounds judgemental - it's not supposed to but I couldn't find a way to phrase it that made it sound better.Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Hello everyone. I'm back from Mexico after eating loads and drinking numerous cocktails. And for my sins I have put on 6lb - but it was worth it. The hotel was out of this world and spotless, so it will be hard to beat for future holidays.. which I have already started looking for :rotfl:
I am not totally over my jet lag and near on 24hrs travelling (having to fly back to Poland as soon as I touched down in the UK), hence posting at this time of night but hope to restart SW tomorrow morning - I have put my alarm on so I get up at a reasonable time!
My next planned trip is to Istanbul in June so I hope to have lost close to 2 stone by then which should bring me very close to target.
Right I'm off to read all your posts from the last week or so and catch up with what you have all been up to.

Ugh.. I've had horrible bloating and tummy pains today. Benefits were that I didn't drink much on my night out :T Downside is that my tummy, and now my back too, are both painful
I'm wondering if its related to me going off food earlier in the week, since I had to force myself to eat a small portion of plain rice before I went out tonight (only thing I could vaguely stomach the thought of).
I have no idea where this boating and pain has come from! Hmm. I think i'll just nip off plan tomorrow if this carries on, and try a day or two's detox (Not too far off plan: herbal teas, smoothies, raw fruit & veg, supplements, no cereals or dairy).
Hmph. *sulk*. *pout*. Any suggestions as to what it could be - could it be a bug?
Also, rant of the evening, I bought some bags of frozen rice and vegetables suitable for steaming in the microwave, and when I got one out to cook they have lots of blinking blobs of herb butter in them: on closer inspection it only says this in small writing on the packet, and NO mention of this on the online shopping list  I picked them out! :ANothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0
