Had my WI this morning I have put on 3½lb this week. It is * week and historically for me this is normal.
I'm determined to have a good loss next week so will be following the original plan for the next few days.
Here's today menu:
Breakfast
3 rashers bacon
1 frylite egg
mushrooms
tomato
Lunch
pitta bread (HB)
chopped boiled egg
salad
salad cream (½)
Tea
pork fillet (s/f with onions in frylite)
jk pot with laughing cow light (HB) + (HA)
Roast peppers
Muller light yoghurt
350ml sk milk (HA)
Curly Wurly - 6
Total 6½ syns0 -

Today's food plan so far:
4 ryvita HEB
5 laughing cow light triangles HEA
fruit salad & mullerlight
apple
dynorod soup
pasta with half a tub dolmio light stir-in sauce (3 syns) and few bits chicken thrown in
Dinner will be quorn burgers, SW potato wedges and either veg or salad.
Prob use 4.5 syns for a Nescafe Mocha but that will be it cos' I'm cutting them down to make up for yesterdays rubbish food and cake that I ate.0 -
I don't post very often but I do read the thread every day. Not having a good week this week and I've got WI tomorrow morning. Just counted up my Syns so far this week and have already had 115 - so have decided I'd better not have any today to try and limit the damage a bit! I'm really annoyed with myself because I had a gain of 0.5lb last week and I only needed to lose 0.5lb to get to my new, lower, target, which means I really wanted to lose 1lb this week but don't think that's going to happen.
I usually do EE but am having a green day today with plenty of veggies and some fruit but no Syns. Hope that will be enough for at least a STS!

Today is the end of my first 2 weeks and I feel like I need a nice plain boring day. I'm fed up with cooking!

My fruit bowl needs replenishing and my veggie tray is bare so I think a trip to Lidl is in order.

Confused57- thanks for your encouragement:).
I haven't got the veggies to make a free soup but I've had the leftover stirfry from last night for lunch and have got butternut squash curry and rice (which I made from scratch last week and froze enough for 2 dinners for OH and myself).
Will try and up the water intake this evening and not have breakfast before WI tomorrow at 9.30am - will just take a couple of bananas to eat after WI.

Is that 3 HEA's or should one be HEB and that was just a typo? Easily done lol.
Well I'm still on the sofa wrapped in my blankie, I thought I would be back at work tomorrow but hubby told them I would be off all week. I suppose its better to make sure I am really well rather than go back too soon like I did last week. I'm still coughing and have no energy, just walking to the bathroom wears me out so hopefully by Monday I'll be ready to go back to work.
Have loved having time alone with hubby but he really needs to go back to work as in this day and age you don't know if your jobs safe and as he's not been there that long I worry...........ok stop thinking like that
Anyway, I'm glad SW doesn't insist on regular feeding times [where do they get these ideas :eek:] as regular eating has gone out the window. Breakfast was at 12ish and lunch was about 2.45. MUST drink more, only had coffee with breakfast all day yesterday and so far only had coffee today. Slaps wrists [hard] now go drink, go on....GOIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Afternoon My fellow flab fighters
Well done to those who have lost, hugs to those who have gained and need them or are struggling to stay on the SW tank.....or even just stay remotely in sight of it (like me) & Bigger hugs with boxes of tissues for the poorlies
Still feeling ropey, but I think the tabs are starting to get a grip on my bugs.....tho my chest/back still hurts a lot when I breathe in deep:(
Im just feeling like a human waste disposal unit at the moment thoIm eating something - and thinking about what I can have next

) Im thinking maybe the steroids have something to do with this, Ive had them before & remember nearly eating my own arms I was soooo hungry :eek:
Its not ALL rubbish that im eating...I am TRYING to be good, but I kind of start the day with good intentions and it goes 'tits up' when I have an uncontrolable urge that cant be satisfied with whats in front of me(hence the jam & toast)
I dont think I did toooo badly yesterday tho If I remember rightly this is what I ate through the day:-

big dish of potato, peas, swede, carrot & 2 syn bisto gravy ( x 2 as I had it again for tea) lazy poorly girl mealbut was lush

2 slice jam & toast (white bread)

If I can be bothered Im going to make some soup later, got a bag of cheats chopped soup veg from asda in the fridge so all I need to chop is some leeks & celery and open a few tins (can you tell I'm in a laaaaaazy mood)
tea will probably be veggie chilli (OH is making this) and sw chips
Is it me or is it Realllllly cold today?? I think my Blankie has lost is special magic heating powers!
