I fell off the wagon with a large bump at the start of December and am now climbing back on it.

Tomorrow will be my first day and I would welcome any thoughts on the following menu:-

    Breakfast
Large bowl of melon with VLF yoghurt

    Lunch
Cous cous with roasted veg and tuna
    VLF Yoghurt
    Apple
    Satsuma

    Dinner
    Pork with roasted veg
    Boiled rice

    Snacks
    Satsuma
    Pineapple
    Melon
42g All Bran (HEB) and 250ml of Semi (HEA)

No syns at the moment, they will be there somewhere..

Weigh-in tomorrow and this time I have no idea how I've done. Logic would say that I've gained after eating a fairly junky meal and drinking a heck of a lot on New Years eve, followed by a hungover Chinese on New Years Day - but since then I've been on zero syns and to the gym three times running 6-9km each time.

    So yeah, no idea.
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Hi folks. I went to my first ever meeting of SW last night! I haven't managed to get to the shops yet for a proper planned shop but this is what I ate today. I'm doing EE.

Breakast: missed that due to visitors popping in!
Lunch: Mushrooms, 2 eggs (cooked with spraylight), jacket spud and beans. I didn't have any salad or anything in at that time so no veg.
Dinner: SW chips, salad (at last!), Diet Coke chicken

Snacks: HUGE bowl of fruit salad (kiwi, pineapple, mango, melon) and a Mullerlight. Apple.

Syns: Nescafe Mocha drink. Quorn mini savoury egg. 5 blackcurrant and liquorice sweeties. 14.5 syns used out of 15 allowed.

I didn't manage to include the HEa or HEb at all. What do I do there, do I carry them over to tomorrow or just start afresh?

I don't quite believe you can lose weight by eating so much...are you SURE this is going to work? Maybe my portions are too big?

Good luck to everyone and for all us newbies that are in our first week too!:):)

  • Doh - crashed the diet today (well, yesterdy technically, given what time it is!) Just wanted to crack on with college work which then equated to old habits of "I'll just get some chocolate... and those crisps... and that one..." etc

Sending someone out for a bunch of grapes and a tonne of fruit tomorrow ;)

  • Does anyone on here have a pressure cooker and are they any good? I have a slow cooker that I use all the time but I was looking at a pressure cooker and wondering if they would be quicker/better for doing things like rice/pasta/potatoes or not?

  • Good Morning,

Went back to class last since after xmas and had a 2lb gain, am happy with that because I haven't been on plan since the 23rd and hopefully that is me sorted now.
    Day looks like this

Breakfast, 2 bacon medalions, 1 egg, mushrooms and a few beans.
Lunch- Ham salad with cheese ( HEA)
Dinner- Gammon steak, mash, and veg.

    snacks- grapes, pineapple and banana.

Am wondering if i should start using a set number of syns each day, so that if my weight loss slows down I have something to cut back on as well as portion control.
I normally try not to use them.
I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."
