    Good morning all

Another blinkin freezin cold day here again winter_brr.gif.....
well done on the losses folks :j
Papoosue -nope, Im affraid you don't carry over heA+Bs ..although your latte "may" have used 1 heA ;)
Irishmummy -I would use some syns... they say to eat at least 5 a day, I used to struggle to use mine but then as you have said -I realised that if I didn't use them then when my weight loss slowed I would have nowhere to cut back ;) -so now I really try to use at least 10 a day -although sometimes Im a little under...

Oooohh and I was very good last night.. it got to 9:30pm and I made myself get my ar*e off the sofa and doing 30mins on the wii -so I burnt 300cals -better than nowt wink.gif. I plan on doing the full 45min routine and some other bits today....

well then Im on another red day today that should look like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • banana
    • home made vegetable soup
    • strawberries
    • orange
    • toad in the hole :-
    • 1 sausage (5.5) :eek::rotfl:
    • home made yorkshire (3)
    • carrots
    • nobbies
    • broccoli
    • onions
    • gravy granules (1)
    • mixed berries
    • activia (2.5)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fibre plus bar (B)
So that is 2A+1B and 12 syns accounted for.. not sure what to do with the other heB yet confused.gif-but I will think of something... now I know dinner sounds high syn, but Im amazed how I can still work it into the plan..I mean, the sausages are 5.5 EACH -and they aren't cheap nasty ones they are the Tesco finest ones... so very yummy and they are big n fat so 1 is plenty. Im glad I can incorporate them as I have 48 in the freezer rotflmao.gif -although with 6 to a pack it will be 1 for me, 2 for hubby with yorkshire pud and then he will have the other 3 for his lunch tomorrow with veggies n potato (no yorkshire) ...so it won't take long to use them up, and then I really must get back to making my own biggrin.gif

I think Im going to fettle our bedroom later today -now that should burns some cals eek.gif -I want to get my new clothe hung up (if I can find some more coat hangers) and I will sift through to make sure there are no more items I have "out shrunk" -if so -then they have to go wink.gif
righty ho after all that waffle I will get off and make another cuppa.. have a lovely day everyone and keep at it!!!

opps i have to confess that after eating the pitta with spaghetti last night i got abit of a taste for them. ended up having 2 more toasted with dairylea!!

and then realised i had picked up plain ones instead of wholemeal too so they were 7.5 syns each!! also have 2 packets as they was on offer and i cant throw them away so will have to use 1 a day and syn them.

    another green day today;

b - grande skinny cappacino with sugar free hazelnut from starbucks (4 - though possibly a hea?), 2 alpen lights (heb)
    l - plain pitta (7.5), dairylea triangle x 1, babybel x 1 (hea), velvet crunch (4), apple

d - something syn free and with veggies!!

really need to go to the shops

For anyone who wants to get back on track after over-indulging or for newbies who may not think of the finer points, I have a list of items where members have found that they are 'slipping up' and adding syns when they honestly think they've been on plan:

Sugar or milk in tea or coffee - it really adds up! Beware, vending machine drinks have Syns and takeaway hot drinks are even higher! Eg a skimmed milk Latte can add up to 8 Syns or more!

Sorry if it is a stupid question, but when you say that takeaway hot drinks are high in syns, that only means ones with milk and sugar, right? I usually have black americano or espresso and have been assuming it was syn free.

Morning, day 2 on plan and feeling very motivated:TToday is my first ever red day:)

Had a coffee first thing using milk from allowance.

Just had breakfast: Weetabix (1/2 B), milk (A), and a mahoosive banana.
Lunch will be a WM roll (B), ham, pickle (0.5), yoghurt, melon and maybe an alpen light for my other 1/2 B
Dinner is Mrs M's chinese pork (2) which is currently in the slow cooker and smells wonderful. Will have that with tenderstem brocolli, green beans and maybe carrots.
So that is both A+B and 2.5 syns accounted for.

**Quick question for Mrs M, how long did you cook yours for? And at what setting?
I put mine in about an hour ago and had it on high and have just turned it down to medium and will turn it to low before i go out.

Well done to those with losses this week, great going considering the time of year.

MRSMCAWBER Unfortunately I don't think it did - it was mixed with water:(. Never mind though, I've had my bran flakes and some milk allowance this morning, so I've done my heA&B for the day :)

I'm still trying to get to grips with the amount of food you can consume on this diet. I must admit I expect to have gained lbs when I go to WI on Monday night!

Have a good day and thanks for your comments :)

    Two questions.

Does anyone have any tips for when the Frylight seems to get blocked. After a while it seems to go spluttery as opposed to spray - y?

Do you know the current syn value for Linda McCartney veggie sausages, the frozen ones?

    Cheers.
