Morning or Afternoon depending where you are.
Today is going to be a green day I think as I've just had a big bowl of carbonara minus the ham.
I missed breakfast as my friend in Australia skyped me and we had a big old chat so had a extra big bowl of pasta for lunch.
Today (G)
B - missed
L - ham free carbonara (F)
D - Veggie chilli & Rice (F)
Snx - 4 ryvita (B) 2 cheese triangles (A) banana & yoghurt (2) granola (4)
Milk for tea and coffee (A) and lots of water.
I need another B in there... I'll have a look at the list to see what I need to have.

I believe Bella has an offer on at the moment, there is another one but the name of the magazine escapes me. Possibly Women's Own???The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

SW is doing half price membership till 30th Jan and I think Bella magazine has a free membership voucher this month - I'm going to head out to the shop this week and get one so I can go to my local class on Monday.
(oop - double post with guns!)
I have some onoin bhajis and samosas in the freezer that I bought from Lidl a while back.
On the box it says 1 samosa and 1 bhaji cooked = 105 cals
Can I just use the 20cals = 1 syns rule? or will the veg in them be free (therefore making it overall less syns? I think Iceland ones are only 1.5 syns each and they are basically the same just a different brand, but I dont want to underestimate!)
thanks

Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
Hi everyone. WI for me tonight, have been better than I was xmas week but had a couple of naughty days (new years eve and new years day).
OWL - does scrambled egg reheat ok? I'd like to bring scrambled egg and beans for brekkie at work but actually making the scrambled agg is too messy and time consuming as I don't actually get a break for breakfast but I can't have it before I come to work....it's too early!!!
I suppose today will be EE, not sure what I'm having for tea yet but here's the plan so far:
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), forgot to eat my fruit!!!
Lunch - salad, savoury rice, turkey, salad cream, pickles, jelly
Snack - 1 shortbread biscuit, fruit.
I need to check a few syn values but I'm pretty sure I'll have reached my limit at that!!0 -
Thank you everyone, going to get Bella and join Monday, but have started on a Diet yesterday, so hopefully when its my Birthday in April I will NOT be Fat and Forty!!
Thanks again, am sure will be asking lots of stupid questions over the next few weeks!0 -
Special offer from Slimming World: Pick up a copy of Bella magazine on sale now & a voucher inside entitles you to Free Membership. That means you'll pay just £4.95 in your 1st week, saving £10 - the cheapest way to get all the books you need to follow the plan - and you'll get it explained to you by the consultant at the meeting!A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:

 Who'd have thought... MrsM has TwohundredandSixtyFour Syns in her freezer! And you who struggles to use all your synsSorry if it is a stupid question, but when you say that takeaway hot drinks are high in syns, that only means ones with milk and sugar, right? I usually have black americano or espresso and have been assuming it was syn free.
I would think you are probably ok with americano or espresso, especially if freshly made. Its the things some places add to the coffee which remains a mystery to me, not just milk and sugar, but preservatives and stuff wot enhances flavour and makes powder dissolve when you don't have a spoon... e.g. the coffees out of a dispensing machine can be 3-4 syns for just a standard coffee with milk - and that's not a latte or cappy! I managed to help my old consultant out once as she had been counting these as milk allowance, and could not understand why she wasn't losing weight (and this is a consultant... thus proving we are all human) - I had just happened to mention it in class one week, and we worked it out.. because it was powdered rubbish with hot water added it didn't count as milk allowance, and wait for it... she worked out she had been having 34 syns a day over what she thought she was having - so poor woman was 100s of syns over throughout the course of a week and had no idea!
... the next week i'm glad to say she lost 6lbs :rotfl:Two questions.
Does anyone have any tips for when the Frylight seems to get blocked. After a while it seems to go spluttery as opposed to spray - y?
Because its horrible stuffI think this is a common complaint, has always happened with mine whenever I've used it in the past, but seriously, consider replacing the use of fry light with a good quality non-stick pan which doesn't need anything, or using a few syns on a small amount of a decent oil - its much healthier than the rubbish in frylight. I use an olive oil in a spray bottle, which I think is 1/2 a syn per 3 squirts. Its one of the diet products which I really don't think are good for you in the long run - that and artificial sweetener.

This is what I do as I just don't like the look of the ingredients listed on the Frylight - and i can't see how it wouldn't be any syns!
I'm absolutely stuffed today.. just had lunch and i couldn't eat another thing (unless it was icecream of course - there's always room for that!:T)
Going for an Extra Easy day today..
B - apple, yogurt
