Guns.... I just give the pork an occasion "prod n poke" if I happen to be passing :D
    Thankyou confused57 :p

Well folks I got the wii out before lunch and burnt 500 cals in 40mins :j.. so that is THAT out of the way for another day (although I will end up playing tennis etc later this evening ;)).. I was rather warm... hence having the patio door tilted open when its -9 outdoors -when hubby came in he though I was losing the plot :o *who? Me?" :D

LMAO :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: you do make me larf Mrsm......the big belly chuckles must be giving me some body magic :D:D x x

Well Im really rather ashamed to say that Ive only been out of bed about an hour :o I really dont think my body clock has got over all the travelling and time difference yet :p Poor Mr Dizzy is back at work and will prob be home by the time Ive decided to get dressed

So breakfast, lunch & tea will kind of all be rolled into one long grazey meal I reckon (not the best start in the world I know ) but seeing as officially WI is not until thurrsday night & Ive limited supplies until we shop then I figure in the words of father ted im f3cked anyway lol :rotfl:

Ive had some weetabix & rasberies for brekkie & Ive thawed out some chilli that Mr Dizzy made for himself.....which is not exactly SW style as he did use a little oil when frying off the spices (how much i'm not sure....so im winging it really) and we will have rice and some pitta breads that I found lurking in the freezer too. Ive got a bag of satsumas so hopefully I will get away will a sort of EE day with maybe a few extra syns

Hope everyone else is having a good day :A
  • Hi there,
I haven't really been on since I joined you all mid December as Christmas got in the way & I decided to take a couple of weeks off, I jumped back on the wagon yesterday & am loving it - though dreading my first wi tomorrow night

Today I am planning on making steak frites & have decided to try & make a low fat tartar sauce to go with it using lf mayo, capers, gherkins, onion & lemon juice, I don't have any yogurt but if I did I'd use that to thin it all down & make it go further

I'll try & report back to let you know how it goes

Has it worked for you? I'm so bloody paranoid on WI day...

yes - 1 week i knew i had been very bad i had a light breakfast and a drink then nothing but small sips of water all day and lost 3lbs from my scales in morning to offical sw scales - and mine do wiegh the same as the consultants
i woudnt obviously recommend this but desperate measures that week and i couldnt face a gain

but bear in mind this did create a rod for my own back as was worried the week after ....etc etc

I'm joining Slimming world tonight, no excuses this time. I'm the heaviest I've ever been and can't even blame baby weight (it has gone up since I had him :( ) 2011 is the year.

Feel free to bombard me with PMs if I don't return here on a regular basis.

    I will succeed.

I think that's been my problem - I did well one week by doing it and since then I'm afraid to do any different...

    Hello All!

I've just spent the afternoon reading through this thread! I'm doing SW on my own at the minute (just started back this week), I'd like to lose around a stone and then try to keep that off as I get married at the end of this year :D

I'm doing EE and will try and post daily menus to keep myself on track.

    Today i've had:

    B
Weetabix (hexb) with warm milk (hexA) and half a banana
    Apple
    L
Homemade lasagne (7ish syns) and salad
    S
    Orange
    D
Sirloin steak, potatoes, mushroom and veg

Well I'm now having a green day looking like this -

Lunch - Jacket potato with cheese (HEA) and carrots plus a little butter (1.5 syns)
Dinner - Lamb Curry made with a patak paste (2 syns) and rice.

I'm going to use 2 HEB for my lamb (not sure of the weight, but I suspect it'll be more than the 85g allowed for 1) am I allowed to do that?? I'm also going to have 1 sainsburys BGTY naan bread for 6 syns. So that's all HE accounted for plus 9.5 syns used.

I have a hate hate relationship with my scales at home, they are much more tempermental than the SW scales. I try and avoid weighing at home, because every time I do it says I've put on. I think they just hate me.

Anyway, it makes predicting how bad it's going to be very hard, and I like to prepare myself if I know I've gained. WI day makes me very nervous, but I know that if I starve myself then I'll feel worse and although it might be a loss on the scales I won't believe it as I would feel I cheated.

However when I'm a couple of lbs from target I plan to weigh in leggings not jeans like normal and I'll starve myself from the night before ha. Then I can gain the next week and not have to pay ;)
