Minimins were discussing it and apparently they favour a drop of coconut essence from jane fonda and milk, that way it would be FREE if the milk was a healthy extra (although not as creamy - but then again the potato adds some thickness).
Yes two tablespoons of green curry powder - it was tescos own, and it wanted me to use the whole jar! this was about 1/4, hence why the chillis were fine - although personally I like my food with a kick to wear teel toe caps, so will make it 3 chillis next timeI kept the curry paste down because I figured the soup was synful enough!
I'm hopeful it'll have matured overnight
I'm waffling again, its the procrastination of revision. I can't afford to do that, so byeeeeee for now (I'll prob be back later!)
yes i have seen discussions on minimins about coconut essence but I dont like the sound of it really, sounds a bit too artificial...i dont know why it just doesnt appeal to me.. i'd rather use some syns for the real deal
if you like it with a kick try to find some curry pastes in a local asian shop - I have a panang curry paste from a thai shop that blew me away - the recipe said 1 tbsp paste and a tin of coconut milk, but I had to split the pan and water it down with milk it was so hot it was nealry inedible!! :rotfl:Thai people must have much stronger taste buds than meBetty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

2 satsumas
BBQ chicken chunks - 1.5syn
SW chips
Salad
Tuna Tomayo pasta- 1syn (made with a tomato based sauce with 2TBSP Mayo mixed in)

I will have a sweet after dinner but not sure what yet, maybe fruit and yogurt.0 -
Morning all, weekend wasn't too bad. Went round friends for dinner Saturday night and had small piece of lasagne with salad followed by small piece of chocolate cake but turned down the cream. I also drove there so didn't have any alcohol just water. Yesterday was totally back on plan.
EE as always:-
B - ff yoghurt and apple
S - 2 alpen light bars (heb) and apple
L - jacket spud with cheese (Hea) with salad and quavers (4.5)
S - apple
D - not sure yet
Well done to all the losers :T
To all those struggling, don't let a bad day or weekend ruin your week, get back on that wagon - even if the fumes are potent!
Dizzy and TakeItEasy - hope you are feeling better0 -
A question ladies, is it ok that on the days that I am at home, I eat cooked meals for lunches?
Like today, chicken bites, chips and salad? I dont way overload my plate, but I'm a proper 3 meals a day no snacks kinda girl0 -
LOST 2.5lbs
I am pleased with that, as it has got rid of that 2lb that went on last week:)

Hi All, been good all weekend :-) Went shopping with my bridesmaids yesterday and had coffee in the Thorntons cafe and managed to resit the cakes! You do get a choccy with your coffee which was scrummy! We then had lunch in debenhams and I had jacket potato with beans and salad, not butter. I was very pleased with myself!
Today will be EE so I don't have to faff about weighing and measuring my tea!!
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), apple
Lunch - spicy rice with lots of veggies in, (1 syn for tiny pit of chorizo), fruit, yogurt
Tea - spag bog and salad.
Might have some choccy after tea for syns.0 -

Your tomato pasta sauce sounds interesting - does it make it look & taste like a creamy pasta bake sauce you can get in a jar?0 -
