Ooooh very exciting! I think we need to know a bit more about him now, so tell us all!Well done losers:T Ali660 thats a fab first week loss!
I've also got cupcakes to make this evening(trying to set up a cake business) so no doubt one of those will be making it into my mouth! Sometimes i'm strong though, so lets hope its one of those days!
Oooh, this is exactly what I'm beginning to do. In the very early stages of planning it, and making lots of lists of what I need to do to get it off the ground. Would love to swap notes with you if you'd like to. I've been trying to make lots of connections on twitter with like-minded people, but the majority already seem to have their business up and running. I got some great comments from Beth and Ruth from the Great British Bake Off, and Edd (who won it) too. I need to upgrade my mixer at the mo, and cannot decide which one to get, and then I don't know if I can afford to get the one I'd like. Having dreams about Kitchenaid and kenwoods now! :eek:Skint_Catt wrote: »Hi all, lost 2.5 last night (shockingly!) to make it 9lbs in 3 weeks :j
Really chuffed with that - and then I found out afterwards I'm 5 weeks pregnant
I want to carry on with SW if everyone will let me (I need to!) but not sure now how my weight loss will go once bean starts growing
Wow! Congratulations, that's fabulous news. I gave up WW when I fell pregnant with my last baby (10 yrs ago!) but was fortunate to have no appetite during pregnancy, except for fruit and water, so lost over 2 stone during it. I actually weighed less at full term, than I had at the conception, although I didn't look so hot I have to say! My problem was that as soon as I'd given birth, my appetite returned with a vengeance.
Well yesterday I was baking cupcakes all afternoon/evening, and can proudly say I didn't eat a crumb (I did lick a teaspoon though). OH is finishing working with a mate today, so I've sent him off with a selection as his 'leaving' cakes. I have to say being around food all day makes me less likely to eat.... I wish the same could be said for Master Sary who kept drifting in/out of the kitchen looking whistfully at everything, and sticking fingers in empty bowls.
Food yesterday was: EE
B - ff yogurt, blueberries, satsuma, banana
L - dyno rod soup, Eat Smart carbonara pasta snack
D - roast chicken, mash, carrots, peas, broccoli, gravy (2 syns)
Milk - HEA
Fibre plus bar - HEB
I can't think of anything else I may have had, and don't think I had any more syns, so that's a few left in the bag for the w/end if I need them.
Today's plan : Green
B - 1% peach yogurt, blueberries, banana
L - Dynorod soup, chicken (shredded it up and put in the soup - delish), Fibre Plus bar [HEB]
D - Baked potato, salad, cheese [HEA], baked beans
Milk - [HEA]
Snacks : Hifi bar, Shapers chocolate dessert (5.5 syns)
I'm feeling a bit yuk with * at the mo, so think a bit of comfort food today may help. Skipping the gym though, because just don't think it'd be wise to attempt it.
I thought I'd cheer myself up today and dye my hair, to get rid of the Mallen streak that's appearing, along with all the other white hair that seems to stand out loud and proud on my bonce. I bought the more expensive kit, with a comb applicator thingy, and only needed to be left on for 10 mins.... was a bit longer because the phone rang, but not by much. Has it covered the white? not really! Turned the rest of my hair a bit of a minging dingy rusty brown though... soooo not the medium ash blond I was after, and exactly the reason why I'd put off doing a home dye thing for ages, because I didn't want it to be such a horrific colour. I used to have my colours done at a salon twice a year, but haven't been able to afford to go, or justify spending the £ since before OH lost his job in 2009, so in June it will be my 2 year anniversary since I've had my hair done. There's always something else to spend £100 on though, isn't there?
I'm going to read my book this afternoon, which will make me feel very naughty and lazy, but I promise to work harder in the gym next week.
Well done on all the fabulous losses. I so hope I'm able to join in with my own one next week. If not, I really don't know what to do to give my loss a kick in the right direction. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

I managed to burn pasta in a stainless (ha!) steel pan yesterday.
Its now soaking in the sink with fairy and hot water, but um... any more advice as to what to try next?!I'm going out to physio in an hour, so will be able to pick up scourers and any other cleaning fluids then.
:eek::eek::eek:
Read a weird tip in Cook Vegetarian magazine about this. Lady said to cut a potato in half and use like a scourer! Not tried it myself but she said it always works. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Congratulations Skint_Catt, thats lovely news:A
Just having yesterdays dinner for lunch again as it was yummy.
Falafel(4.5), HM egg fried rice(2), sweetcorn and beetroot.
Made a quick tomato sauce to put on some pasta that i'm going to take to work.
So dinner will be tomato pasta with 1.5 A of cheese, 2 x alpen light (B) and probably a yoghurt or 2.
Both A+B and 7 syns used so far. Will probably add to the syn total later;)The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

mixed salad, chopped up small - mine includes cherry toms, various leaves, red pepper, beetroot and red onion
mix all the above together in a bowl - dollop on top some ff natural yog with mint leaves, cucumber and spring onion mixed in!

A friend of mine is about halfway through her pregancy and I am so fascinated by it all, keep telling her random facts that I find online at every stage, like it's hiccuping or it's covered in little hairs! but I figure i'll need to know it all myself one day (i hope!)Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
