Thanks for the WB's.
Dizzy, sounds like what I had although didn't have snotty nose [it did run when coughing] hope you feel better soon.
Does anyone know the syn value of quorn burgers, ones with red onion in? Pretty please
Well done to all the loooooosers, comis's to thoses sts & big hugs to those with small gains.
The road to perfection is long and windy [thats win[e]dy not windy although if the cap fits :rotfl:] so the scenic route is perfectly acceptableIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Evening all
Well done on all the losses, sts and chin up for the gains!
I lost 1lb on my Monday wi - was hoping for more, but a loss is a loss i guess!
Been really stressed all today and yesterday and have eaten all the wrong things - fish and chips, cream cakes, jaffa cakes, chocolate i literally could not stop myself from eating yesterday i was snowballing out of control and today ive had another cream cake and more chocolate, but think its out of my system now back on the slimming world wagon!
I was wondering if you could give me some advice to pass on - my friend joined with me 3 weeks ago and so far shes lost 1lb (sts first wi and 1lb on monday) shes really peeved off as you can imagine and im trying to convince her to stay with it a little longer - so was just wondering if you could give me some words of encouragement?
Thanks and have a good eveningxxxx:tongue:Mum to 2 cheeky boys2011 will be my year!!0 -
I have lost the plot today
Work is proving stressful which means I munch all the wrong things  I'm also out for a family party tomorrow night but will do my utmost to be superfree all day and then enjoy my meal out then back to sw 110% on Saturday and until I return to weigh in next week.:j I want to get back to target asap and not spend the next year faffing around going up a pound, down a pound, up two pounds etc. Trouble is, I get cross with myself for synning / eating the wrong things so (eat even more bad things) then work gets me down again so I fall victim to that bag of (minstrels ??) (too many syns) - give up again for the day and so it repeats day after day :-(
I tried Scan Bran for the first time yesterday lunch. It wasn't actually as bad as I was expecting - I was having it as my HEB option so could have six slices but in fact only managed two. I spread a laughing cow extra light triangle on each and topped with cracked pepper and ham. I served it with a sweet pointed pepper (that was the nicest bit!) Out of interest, does anyone know the syn value per slice ? I have looked at the back of the pack and been on the sw site and typed in the various companies that are mentioned but it doesn't recognize them ? As I only had two slices, I could have synned it and saved my HEB for something else but I don't know how many syns they are ?? I don't think I could eat them all the time but it made for a change. What do you put on your scan bran (if you eat it?)0 -

woo! i think there is a rule somewhere that syns can be flexible on a date!!
In my day dates were meant to be sinful;);)
Well, it's official ... check out my signature block!!
At the end of my first week I am very happy to report a 4.5lb loss - woo hoo!! :j
Yesterday's foodie diary was:
B: Banana & yogurt
Snack: Apple
L: Salmon fillet (half after last night's tea), pasta, salad, sprinkle of sweet chilli sauce (Tip from this thread)
Snack: 2 Quality Street (4)
T: SW chips, 2 quorn sausages, beans & egg
(I usually eat a bit more but was conscious of WI)
Later on whilst cooking a butternut squash & red pepper soup I had a lovely glass of red wine taking me to a total of 12 syns for the day.
was it a giant glass of wine? I only pay 6 syns for my glasses of 175 ml, or it's 8.5 for 250 ml (that's red; the scores on whites are higher in general I notice, I'd never looked at them. Perhaps just ignore me)Dontknowanymore wrote: »ASDA delivery comes today and I just went to Morrissons to get their sausages, ended up with some tortilla wraps, danone shape desserts, and some chillies that I forgot to oder lol
