Good morning all -another blinkin freezin cold day here again
and it keeps trying to snow
well done on the losses folks :j
Dizzy are you sure it was the beer that caused Mr dizzies problem... and not the shock of how much it cost on the ferry. Glad you can see the funny side though -and at least you got out and got some "fresh" air
Well my dinner changed last night -I made the curry sauce and just knew I wasn't going to enjoy it so i only stuck 3 chicken breasts in (hubby loved it) so he has it for lunch today and a portion for the freezer.... I got the other breast and wrapped it in foil and sprinkled over some ketjap manis over and steamed with a big pile of cabbage -it was gorgeous...
so then -here is todays plan....

- 28g oats** (B)
- banana
- 1/2 grapefruit

d- asda syn free chickpea dahl with veg added, tilda rice pouch (1.5)

Have u recently bought the dahl? has the packaging changed? I couldn't find it in my local Asda this week and all the items near it had changed packaging

tell me about it!!!! nearly £5 for a tea & a coffee  he reckons it was cheaper to drink beer  (think thats his reasoning anyway;))
Mr Dizzy said this morning he doesnt hnow what is hurting most....his back from carrying the duty frees all day......or his wallet from the ferry :rotfl::rotfl:morning,
well i went over my syns big time yesterday got a huge urge for chocolate so went into whsmiths and got a malteasers bunny (so nice) but they were doing 2 for £1 so i picked up 2 cos it was a bargain. and what did i do?
yep i ate both of them grrr:mad:
then before i went to bed i saw that my dad had bought a loaf of vogels bread and decided to have 2 slices of that toasted with i cant believe its not butter light.
then this morning i was running late and didnt have time to prepare my food for work so i went to marks.
bloomin yogurt i got was 7 syns as was the apparently low fat crisps.
the salad i got the plain ham and egg one but it has salad cream with it and i really like salad cream so i will probably have it.
AND my blueberries have gone mouldy
need to get on the sw tank instead of just half heartedly following it.
Oooh you reallly dont want to be following it hun......not with the amount of people eating Dyno rod & chowing nasty scan bran - the exhaust fumes wont be too pleasant_pale_ :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
well Ive woke up this morning all snotty, grotty, sneezy & coughy
(sounds like part of the cast of the alternative 7 dwarfs :rotfl:)
Really dont think Im going to venture far from the sofa & my big 'poorly blanket' and Ive no plans to get out of my jamas and bedsocks eitherI ache all over like someone has been jumping on me wearing big boots!! and my head is banging.
Not sure what day today is going to be....probably green but Ive just got the urge to eat lots of toast at the momenthave fought it so far.....but my will is weakening, Im going to have some weetabix and see if that hits the spot.
Someone take care of the sw tank-Im not fit to drive today
WI tonight might just have to beggar off too......unless I feel tons better & I weigh and run if Mr Dizzy gets home in time to take me0 -

Hello again, I think I am starting to get the hang of this site now after sitting in front of the screen all morning, just one question for now, and if I can give you an example menu for next few days to see if I have to this right, please...
OK question, on my Free list it says veg & salads free food, along with chicken and pasta. But on the syns uk online list it says under Salads that pasta, salad and chicken as a meal is 5 sins, hope its ok to copy and paste that tiny bit: So confusing...
Pasta salad
My example menu for next 2 days:
B: Egg on 2 WW wholemeal bread (0syn)
L: Chicken salad on 2 ww bread & fruit (6 syn)Spag bol made with quorn mince (0syn)
Cups of tea with my skimmed milk from A list
Snack a jacks (3 syns)
B: 2 bananas
L: Tuna Salad on 2 WW bread with 1 tbsp ex light mayo (1/2 syn)
T: Cod & either veg or salad (0 syn)
Another treat for few sins
Also I make veg soup every week, which consists of:
Butternut squash
Sweet pototo
Normal pototo
Onion
Carrots
Turnips
Cabbage
Lentils
Stock pot
From what I can gather this is all free foods, so a bowl of this is 0 syns, am I right?
Thank you so much for my replies up to now, I promise my questions will get less and less, and then I can join in the fun:j

Hi is it ok if I join?
Two of us at work are doing sw on our own, but are finding the days quite confusing, specially the syns & the days.
My Day:
Breakfast:Oats so simple (Plain) + semi milk
Snack: A few grapes
Dinner: Half a tin of chicken soup + an apple
Snack: A few more grapes
Tea: Spag bol.. wholewheat pasta but readymade sauce.
Could any help me work out the syns & what day it is please.. Thank you."Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love." Jane Austen.
