Tomato ketchup isn't high in syns anyway. i just use tesco or morrisons own normal one. I can't remember what it is but something like 1 syn per tablespoon.....check that though!!!

Can any one suggest a very low syn tomato ketchup?. I currently buy Heinz reduced salt and sugar. No idea of the syn value.

I think heinz ketchup is 1 syn per teaspoon, but i am not sure coz i can't find it in my book. It hate the way the lists are in catergories, not just alphabetical. It's not in 'sauces' 'dips' or 'kitchen basics'

Turbo - congrats on the weight loss !!

Dizzy - it is hard to eat sw when ill. Always think that when poorly it is best to eat rather then starve and it helps to eat what you fancy.

Hi all. Still feeling all stressed, made a total prat of myself this morning by bursting into tears in the office....not a good idea when you work with all blokes!!! Its a good job I'd cheered up a bit by lunchtime when I realised that the 'soup' I'd brought for lunch from the freezer was actually curry base sauce!!! So that ended up down the sink as I'd defrosted and heated it before I realised. i did try a spoonful to see if I could eat it as soup bt its very watery and insipid, you add a lot more flavours to it and cook it down when you turn it into a curry!!! Its a good thing I always bring plenty of food to work with me but I mus admit I am still hungry. Hometime soon but won't be able to get on with tea very quickly as the in-laws are coming round.

Oh no, what a day you've had! Have a crutch-hug from me!

I'm feeling a bit dizzy today. I fell and hurt the ligaments in my foot and I've been in awful pain with it today. So its either that or the lack of junk food!

You can have my spare crutches - I'm lending them out like its going out of fashion today! ;) Hope its not that serious x

My day carried on down the plughole, when at 4.30 I found a perfect job to apply for, and its closing date was today!! Started shoving together CV and covering letter to email, but realised no email address on advert. Rang them up to ask for an email addy, and was given an hour's extension on the 5 oclock deadline - but I also managed to lose the email address I'd just taken! So tried this dot that, mail failed, that dot the other, mail failed, check spelling and try again, mail failed. So I rang them up again and asked to check the email address - the person on the other end sounded very stern and I got a bit of a ticking off for adding a bit into the email address (:o) but its not bounced... yet! Still, maybe I won't hold my breath... :rotfl:

I'm the same today Dizzy. Actually my 'illness' is feeling dizzy :rotfl:. Not sure why. Really can't be bothered to think about what to have to eat so I'm having an off day.

Hugs to the poorlies, there is a lot of stuff going round at the moment.
Weighed in this morning and lost 1/2 a lb, not too bad considering the digestives and toast and full fat coke i had when i was ill!

Had a good food day so far.
    Coffee(1/2A)
    2 x alpen light(B)
    2 x clementine
    Banana
    FF activia
Baked Potato with 63g cheese (1.5A) and 2 tbsp pickle (2) and salad
    FF activia
    2 x alpen light (B)
    handful of grapes
    3 x falafel (4.5)
    egg fried rice(2)
    beetroot
    sweetcorn

Had both A+B and 8.5 syns, definitely room for a kitkat later....
