forgive my flirtation Woot,i'm happily married. Although if i'm ever not happy i'll let you know, you'd have to ditch SW though,i like my men 'carrying a little weight'. ;)

Made me laugh, nice one! I'm happily engaged, so it's all good - flirt away :p

Just to reassure you, I'm still 'carrying a little weight' as you so eloquently phrased it. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be here!

  • Morning all, hope everyone is well.
My food diary for yesterdays EE day.

    Weetabix (Heb) Milk (Hea)

Iceland chicken BBQ chunks (1.5syn) golden savoury rice, tattties, loadsa salad, (1 syn) for condiments

HM cottage pie (1syn) green beans, sweetcorn, gravy (2syn)

Mixed berries, fat free Danone activia

Not sure what today is going to be, maybe green, or EE, it's looking more like an EE day as I fancy a nice prawn salad.

    Good morning all :)

Day 6 for me and I couldn't resist a peak on the scales ...

    Drum roll please ...

    4.5lbs off!!! Woo hoo!! :j:j

It's the most I've ever lost in the first week so I know next week is gonna be harder ...

Made a lovely pasta last night with a spoon full of quark - thanks for the useful tips on this ingredient :) I made some garlic mushrooms and stirred them into pasta with some cherry tomatoes and a grilled salmon fillet ... yummy!

Thanks so much everyone for your support and helpful info!

Had my WI today -2 1/2 lbs, which i am really pleased about because i had 4 night shifts last week and thought it might have stopped me losing.
I also got slimmer of the month as i have lost 8 1/2 lbs all together over 3 weeks.

My graduation ball is in a couple of weeks so i would like to lose another half stone if possible.
Last week i went to ballet, pilates x2 and step and i am really enjoying the classes and to continue with them over the next week.

I just need to be on the ball and organise meals and lunches to stop me just having crispbreads and cheese triangles!!

    Today
B = Fruit and fibre and semi skimmed milk (HE A&B)
    S = grapefruit
    D = rivita x 3 (4.5), cottage cheese (1), ham, beetroot
S = persimmon fruit, diet lemonade (would have been snack a jacks only the kids have eaten them all!!)
D = left over lamb done in slow cooker with tinned tomatoes, corgettes, harrissa paste, sultanas, (blast forgot the onions, hmmm should i put them in now and some carrot?) served with swede and sweet potato

Good luck to everyone this week xx

Morning all, well once agin I haven't got much to say! Feeling really down at the min, work is dead stressful and OH is grumpy as he' been working really hard clearing an area of the garden and building our new greenhouse. I do keep telling him to not go so mad with it and to take it a bit slower as there's no rush but he won't listen. He's dead grumpy with me all the time so I feel like he's cross with me as it was me that wanted the greenhouse. I'm dreading going home as I feel so bad and I know there's nothing I can do to make it up to him!!!

Have had porridge and a nana for brekkie, not a clue what I'm having the rest of the day. WI tonight, TOTM due today too so doubt it'll be a good one!!!

    Morning all,

Woot, if you have lost that 1lb, I hope the weighing in girl is under 70 and has her own teeth still (unlike the one at my class, bless her)!

Well it's a right miserable, grey, wet day here today. The sort where you want to just snuggle back under the duvet again, except I woke extra early too, so not much point if I can't sleep.

So, I was planning to do roast chicken for dinner tonight, partly because I went food shopping AGAIN yesterday, and had soooo much food to put in the freezer that one of the 3 chickens in there had to come out to make room. However, BF informed me last night that he's agreed to go with a friend to collect something... probably a long journey, and the friend suffers with his nerves and can't cope well travelling to strange placees, so he won't be here for dinner. I'll save the chook for tomorrow instead. Also, I really do need to stop going shopping, because the cupboards, and freezers are fit to burst. So a bit more meal planning is definitely needed, and then I can wind down the stocks for the next few weeks.

As I don't have to feed my OH, I can safely go for a green day (he's a meat freak, can't cope with a meal without it) for me and little Sary.

    Plan today: Green

B - 1% apricot yogurt (2.5 syns), apricot, strawberries, plum, WW yogurt

Mid-morning snack - Fibre Plus Bar [HeB]

    L - Dynorod soup, superspeed/free packed quiche

D - Baked potato, cheese [HeA], baked beans, mixed salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions, peppers), Eat Smart Caesar dressing (0.5 syns)

    HEA - 250ml milk

Evening snack - Hifi bar [HeB]

That still leaves me the option of having a treat if I want it, but that seems like quite a bit of food for me today, so think the chances are I won't need it.

I have to say the dyno rod soup is having the reverse effect on me it's having on everyone else. I'm as regular as the town clock at the mo, and assume it's all the extra fruit, veg & fibre I'm having. I have to say it's making me feel much healthier, and I've lost that horrible sluggish feeling I used to have. The downside is that I seem to have an excess of energy, so am struggling to feel sleep at bedtime, and like today, woke early too. Hopefully the gym today will put paid to that.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
  • Well I'm sat here shivvering away a few lbs because I forgot to put a jumper on this morning and now can't be bothered to hobble upstairs to fetch one until I need to go up for something else :p Every little helps, right? ;)

Had a cereal bar this morning. I hope my munchies stay at bay, else I'm going to have to knock up some soup, and I've only got today left to revise for tomorrow's exam, so don't really want to be cooking "properly" if I can help it. So it might be a day full of pasta & sauce, supernoodles, packets of cous cous... methinks it had better be a green day! :D

Hmmm, having said that, studying is almost certainly going to lead to munchies, and I DO have all of the ingredients chopped up in the freezer... hmm.

    Will report back later.

thanks , I have been going to the gym so might explain it slightly.

woke up this morning and I am so dizzy I cant leave the house and am finding it difficult moving room to room. Think is my hormones causing this, cos I seem to have a pattern of it.

Peachyest , I had some weetabix last night to try to move things along and all it has given me is wind so far :o. (sorry TMI) :rotfl:.

You could be low in iron Mirry. Do you have much protein or green veg? If it continues please see your doc as it could also indicate low blood sugar.

Re the gym thing, I was reading an article in this months Zest mag comparing different kinds of workout classes and it was Very interesting how little weight they lost compared to how many inches. The bodypump lady lost 12 inches all over but only 6 pounds in weight. Tbh, I know which number I am more concerned with! I think we all get a little hung up with the number on the scale when we should be more concerned with the number around our waist...
