If anyone likes risotto but can't be a&sed to cook it from scratch there is a 'kit' you can buy from Sainsburys called Porcini Mushroom Risotto kit and is free on a green & EE day (if you exclude the butter & wine from the reciepe) - I've just made it and it's very very tasty - a great quick meal - all you need to add is stock & an onion
Had a bit of a weird rice day today - not very well planned :rotfl:
B - pudding rice with yoghurt, blueberries & raspberries
L - savoury rice
D - mushroom risotto
HEa will be cheese on top of my risotto & milk in my tea with (HEb) a Hi-Fi later. Probably won't use my other HEb.

So today has been ee for me.
Hea - cheese
Heb - ????
B - scrambled eggs,bacon,tom,mush,hashbrown - 2
L - jp,roast peppers,hea cheese
D - chicken curry (4), rice, chickpea dahl, ff yog
Snacks - not sure yet but prob something on toast as my Heb
Syns - 6 + 3 for coffees = 9 which is how it will stay cos had 17 yesterday...or maybe have an options for 2 before bed.
Had a busy day, made 3 soups - broc, chives and stilton, carrot and coriander and parsnip, bacon and mushroom.really pleased how they turned out, just have to portion and freeze them now.also made chickpea dahl and boiled up a ton of butter beans.and cleaned my backroom out!feeling good today.
Glad everyone is posting so often on here.it's good to hear all the different experiences despite us all following the same plan.sort of!

I can only guess its something to do with blood pressure and the swelling in my leg? I'm not too sure, got Physio on Friday so will ask them then, and have also asked on a broken leg forum to see if its commonI wonder if I have been doing too much, because the leg is swelling up very easily today, so I guess that's an indicator I have done too much and not rested it enough.

hi all
had 2nd WI today and was looking forward to a good one having only lost 2lbs on 1st week. Only lost a lb and half this week. gutted.:( particularly as it is my birthday today so had weighed in this morning instead of tonight so i could go out (not now as still sulking). Consultant said we are all impatient which is true i know, and told me to look at upping my speed foods as she had seen food diary last week so happy i am doing it right.
Have been doing EE but in previous sw life i lost a lot of weight on green so thinking of going back to what i know, as do miss that extra HEA. Or is this frowned upon now EE all the rage?
Come on girls (and boys), inspire me before i reach for the fruit n nut..........:wall:Trying to get a grip :think:0 -
Monkeymagic - do whatever suits you - I've finally got my head around EE which I enjoy now, but by default I always end up going back to green (just had my 2nd this week). If you prefer green then go for it - after all vegetarians won't ever do EE!0
