I must say, for chips and any other 'dry' roasting food I couldn't do without a Quickachips.

Well worth the price, great piece of kit.

I've seen those in the £ shop and other places. Excuse my ignorance but do you sit that on a tray and then spray the chips, roasties or whatever?

Just had a delicious lunch. Iceland Peppered Smoked Salmon fillets at £3 for 300g. They're totally free (I checked). It's like smoked salmon but hot and chunky (2x150g fillets). I think ordinary salmon can be a bit bland unless you marinate it, this was really tasty with a few stir-fried veg.

Being low on sodium can also cause dizziness. If you're on healthy eating plans it can be a risk - add some salt to your meals for a couple of days and see if it helps.

No you just pop it into the oven as it is, having sprayed the chips or roasties previously. I par-boil my chips so I spray them with Fry-light whilst they are in the saucepan, then shake them around, and spray again. Empty onto the Quickachips and oven it. It goes in the dishwasher and is easy to store as it folds up.

So what's the cooking time using this then? I hate waiting so long for my chips :rotfl:

After I par-boil they are usually in for about 20 minutes - but it cooks much more evenly and all sides go crisp.

TK Maxx usually have a great selection of trays. I got 2 Judge ones from there a few years ago and they are great. Can't rememebr how much they were but definitely less than a tenner.
ooh i got a judge baking tray for £2 in morrisons the other day.
they also did a pizza tray for £2 which i will use for chips too
  • Hi everyone, thanks to the person who told me where to post :), I posted on an old thread earlier :(

How do I keep finding this thread, or do I have to search for it everytime? I am new to this site so I'm a bit lost...

I am wanting to join up with slimming world online, is anyone else on here just an online member, or is everyone joined up with classes? I just wondered if online is any good? I have never done slimming world before so I have absolutely no idea on how it works, I have read the info on the site and I am so confused with the red/green days extra easy and food optimising. Do you combine all ways, or have certain days doing certain diets, I am so baffled :(

Any help is appreciated, and I look forward to sitting and reading more on the thread and getting to know everyone xxx
