Evenin' all
Well, I STS this week (but my sneaky peak yesterday said 1 off - I am, however, going with today's reading)
Food today been good :A(sorry if I bore you by posting this, but it keeps me on the "dizzy-mobile:rotfl:" aka "THE TANK!!":D)
Green today
B - Porridge (HEB) and Blueberries with 1/2 HEA milk
L - Left over chicken pasta (1 - for the tiny amount of chicken) with veggies, courgette, peppers, mushrooms, onions etc, melon and pineapple, muller
Oh, was posh and had a starter too.... HM Butternut Squash soup (with onion, garlic, celery and carrot and a stock cube!!)
T - Sweet Potato, Butternut Squash and Lentil curry with rice, 2 poppadums (4) and Skinny Cow ice cream (4)
Snack - WW Crisps (4)
Will have HEB (fibre plus bar) and HEA (milk) later for milky coffee and snack before bed........:T

Thankyou
Curries are a favourite , we eat a lot of chicken also things like stir frys and rice dishes everybody enjoys. And we all like fish as well but dont eat an awful lot of it. I'd also like to encourage them to eat Quorn, I eat a lot of it myself as I enjoy it but nobody else seems keen lol
Thanks for the reply
Ok, so you could do a lamb rogan josh, or any of the curries, but IMHO if you are trying to convert someone who isn't sure to SW then you can taste the difference in the syn-free creamy ones (they are also easy to make the sauce split). Thai green curry is also possible for not many syns, and I recently found a syn free recipe for that (not tried that version yet)
Stir-fry is friendly to slimming world, and if you use no oil and soy sauce is completely free - or for a few syns you can make some smashing sauces.
Rice - slimming-world risottos come out lovely and syn-free. I love a good mushroom risotto personally, but there are so many variations.
Cottage pie, spag bol, pasta bake... I'd say 90% of recipes you'd usually do are convertable. :TNothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Lost 2lbs tonight, after thinking I wouldn't even get one!
And the best news is that the OH lost 3.5lbs - so a week of eating loads of superspeed food and making the superspeed soup seems to have worked brilliantly!
So far I've lost 4 stone 3lbs and she has lost 1 stone 10lbs, so it's going OK for both of us. I've still got quite a bit further to go but getting there steadily!Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Yay well done wootball and to your oh. Did you kiss your weigh in girl then?0

It's a lie. Bloody hell I'm going to gain about 10lbs if I eat more of it, probably just going to throw it away.
maybe your body just isnt used to all the fibre just yet? It does work honest (but you can only have an outside seat on the SW tank wagon until further notice):rotfl::rotfl:

So they did a chest xray and his lungs are fine but his heart is much bigger than it should be. They also think he has gallstones and he has something weird on his liver! They have discharged him for the moment but he has to go back for more tests.
Thank you everyone for the concern.:A
Oooh hope poor hubs is feeling a bit better.... Gallstones are the absolute worst pain ever:(
Id rather go thru childbirth again....but to an elephant!! with no pain relief than have those again ! my liver was also showing dodgy scans and blood results-a gallstone had somehow got out and was lodged in my bile duct causing the probs and swelling, they wont mess about though now they have started the tests hun so at least you can both relax a little for now. sending big hugs0 -
I must say, for chips and any other 'dry' roasting food I couldn't do without a Quickachips.

Well worth the price, great piece of kit.
Thanks for this! I bought one off ebay for £3.25. Should be good!
WI tomorrow. I've been a little off wagon as it's my * week so have had an incredible urge to binge. Oddly enough I think my veg intake has been down and when I've managed to up my veggies today the chocolate cravings have gone! In the mean time I think I've had about 25 syns on 3 days this week, and not really had enough spare to cope with that. A STS tomorrow will be good.

Jacket Potato
Cheese (HEA)
Butter (3.5 syns)
Carrots
Dinner

Evening all! Feeling slightly happier now, helped along by having been to WI and lost a whole pound!! Would have been happy with a STS as I'm near target now and that is my third loss in 4 WIs with the other one being a STS, plus its TOTM so usually weigh a bit heavy then. Only 3lbs to go to target!! We've just had HM burgers in HM rolls with SW chips and baked beans. lovely and not that naughty, only the roll was off plan as it was white but very tasty and light. I've pretty much perfected the bread making now, just need to remember to switch the oven on, not the grill next time doh!!!!0

Just got back from weight-in, lost 3 1/2 lbs and smashed through my target by 1 1 /2 lbs :T
Am feeling a bit flat about it though, mainly cause it was the first time ever I haven't been able to stay to group cause hubby is working away and I had my girls with me waiting in the car. Silly really, should still be a happy girl.
Does any one know how choosing a final target works? I think i would like to lose a few more lbs, but not sure how far I want to go, also the last few weeks I have upped my gym sesions and I am toning up now the muscles have got a chance to now the wobbly bits are gone.
Well done to all the losers this week, there seem to be lots of us. :beer:0
