Take it easy - have you checked out your BMI? You could be at target already and now going below. I am built like a brick outhouse so am always at the top of the range for my height/age/sex.

Does anyone know if you have to syn vitamin tablets? I take evening primrose, B6 and cod liver oil.
Have I missed anything Mrs M hasn't been about.
dizzyk - enjoy your trip a way. Last time DH was going to take me away for weekend he forgot about the kids  I had no one to look after them. I he does try.

yes all the oil tablets are 1/2 syn each :( consultant at our group talked about this a few months ago.....the other vits that are just tablets are free though.
At least your DH did 'try' to arrange the trip :A ....they can be a bit forgetful about the 'minor details' like kids! tho eh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thankyou sooo much -I can't believe how relaxed I am about it -although if I had realised when I had just started losing weight I might not have been so accepting ...:rotfl:

Thanks guys, don't have any coke in but grabbed some 'fat' Irn Bru on the way home yesterday. Been sipping it and it is kinda settling my tum.
May have a little dry weetabix in a bit.

Eek Mrs M, thats some difference. But as others have said you still have lost all that weight, which is a huge achievement:T

    Happy weekend all!!:j

Well, Friday was good (despite the 3 choc bics!!), then, well, it was Saturday. Wine, Pizza....... I think there is a hole in Dizzy's tank....;) (saying that it was a VERY late birthday treat and involved going to see Joeseph at theatre)

Today is a new day. Have had a cuppa and 2 shape yogs thus far. lunch is likely to be a "brunch" saus, bacon, mushrooms, etc and tea is Roast beef with a ridiculous amount of veggies. And Rice Pud (HM) for pud.

  • Morning all :hello:

Wowee, big congrats to the losers, those losses just keep on a'coming!! :j

And MrsMc, the measuring tape doesn't lie either, you are still smaller/lighter than you were before, no matter what the new scales say!! :D

G&B & TIE, hope you both feel better soon :(

dizzy, I knew you would be to blame for the disappearing fibre plus bars!! :rotfl: At least I know the scanbrans are safe from you though!! :p And yes, I'm much better today thanks :)

I think I feel another green day coming on ;)

B - 2 chocolate weetabix (HEB + 2), banana, rasps, milk (half HEA)
L - baked spud & cottage cheese, pear
D - Asda chickpea dahl, mash (half HEA for splash of milk), pitta (HEB), 2 clems

Need to shake my menus up I think, they're all pretty much the same every day :o I did say that I was going to be more adventurous food-wise so I think I'll do a bit of meal-planning today.

Haven't been able to make any soup as my butternut squash went mouldy - well I did buy it in November so no surprise really!! :rotfl: Got to get more organised, I hate throwing food out!!

Hope everyone has a good SW day

    Hello Guys & Gals :)

I've been lurking around this board for a week or 2 now ... hope you don't mind! If you have felt like someone was "watching" you, it was only me

Well, I took the plunge last Wednesday night and have become an online member. So far I have gained lots of inspiration from you lot and have been educated somewhat on 'colonic irrigation' :rotfl:

So far I'm really chuffed with my progress - really enjoying the cooking from scratch and have made some very tasty meals - a super spicy parsnip soup which really helped at work for lunch, the quiche, spaghetti & meatballs and lastnight a lovely hm curry - DH reckoned it smelt as good as a takeaway and tasted even better!:j

Anyway, the only thing that's bothering me at the mo is portion size ... I really really enjoyed the curry last night IYKWIM ... is it possible to have tooooo much? At the end of the day there was absolutely no fat in it and there was less than 500g of chicken in the whole thing and it fed me, DH and a small portion left over for lunch one day. Does this sound OK? Will I still lose some lard??

I did have a sneaky weigh in yesterday and was 3lb down already ... promise I won't get back on the scales until Thursday morning :A

    Nice to "meet" you all,

    Ali
