Hello there, managed well at the Mexican restaurant today, after speaking to the manager it seems the refried beans are very fat or oil laden there so best avoided. I asked what was both vegan and low fat and told basically not a lot:rotfl:

So decided to have the Cajun chick pea ratatouille with brown/red/wild rice and no cheese/sour cream and salad and saved syns by having a starter sized portion:T had 2 pints of water and felt well in control (had to ignore my friends buritto, fries and guacamole!!)

Was thinking of having my birthday meal there next month but having gone through the menu am thinking the Chinese in Birmingham might be a more SW friendly option as they do lots of tofu/rice/vegetable dishes.

Think my views on eating out have really changed now - use to be an every weekend event - my old choice at the Mexican restaurant would of been re fried bean burittos/quesadillas with vegan sour cream, side order of fries, pint of beer and then slice of choc cake at the veggie cafe later on - sometimes a takeaway in the eve:o Never again is what I say now!!!

You really shouldn't be feeling like that, did they not do stretches after the class? Its a really good class to do so try and stick with it, have a look on the t'internet for some stretches to do of your own after class and you'll not ache at all.

Same at my Morrisons, I still bought the dark ones (even though I don't like nuts :o)because they only had one single lonely milk one left so I popped into Asda on the way home for some Alpen light bars.

    Green day for me today

B - 2 Alpen lights (nasty headache so couldn't move enough to actually make breakfast)

L - Noodles and HM veg soup

D - roasted veg, SW chips, broccolli, 2ox FF cheddar, tsp sweet chilli sauce (0.5) and 25g sweet chilli philly (2) (strange but nice concoction)

    S - choc options and 2 x kitkats :o (13)

My average syns for the week is less than 60 despite a badish day today and Thursday, lots of exercise (trying to learn to run for the third time) but I think I'll stay the same tomorrow at my weigh in, disappointing for only my third week.

I do tend to eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch during the week which I know isn't good but with leaving the house at 5.30am each day and not getting home before 6pm (if I'm lucky)at night its really hard to organise in the week so I tend to do something on Sunday that I can have all week. I'm wondering if my body is already getting used to this way of eating which sounds stupid when I write it down :(.

Evening all, I hope the weekend fairies haven't found you yet!!! I've been out to Newark and Lincoln for the day with my mum looking for her outfit for my wedding. Amazingly we managed to get her all sorted except for shoes and a handbag. I can't believe what they charge for them though.....it cost almost as much as my wedding dress!!!!

We did have a few treats but I've written down all the syns and it comes to 26. I've called it a green day, I think that makes for the lowest syn option as haven't really had enough super free's to go EE!

    Brekkie 1 - banana
Brekkie 2 - bacon (4), mushrooms, english muffin (8), butter (it was LADEN in the stuff but scraped off as much as I could so counting 2)
Lunch - jacket potato, tuna (HEB), coleslaw (8 for mayo in coleslaw and tuna), salad, 1 choc mint (2)
Tea - chicken curry (HEB + 2 syns), rice
Supper - grapes (OH has HM lemon cake!!!)
    HEA - milk in tea
  • Joined SW on Monday evening. I so far have managed to keep on plan except for Wed night when we had friends over for supper. I made a dish of Spicy rice with chicken tomatoes, peppers etc so that was fine. Come to pud!!! I had taken out an apple and blackberry pie from the freezer. I have about 6 of these which I made in October when I picked hundreds of blackberries. Told myself I wouldn't have any but of course with coaxing I relented and had a small piece with a couple of tablespoons of custard.... !!!!!!

Been back on track since then, finally managed to get out shopping in order to buy loads of veg, fruit, alpen lights and muller lights which makes it easier when you just need something sweet.

    Today on EE

B 2 weetabix with low fat yoghurt and half a banana HEb

S Pineapple, mango and melon. (not whole ones of course as that would just be too greedy)

L Egg and spicy rice. Alpen light cereal bar

D Spaghetti bol. made with all free foods, followed by muller light yoghurt

Cups of tea and a couple of coffees using skimmed milk from HEA

Have just made a huge pan of root veg soup for the next few days, all free foods. Have also got OH on more or less the same food as me give or take an odd hot cross bun here and thereand remainder of apple and blackberry pie!
I USED TO BE INDECISIVE BUT NOW I'M NOT SO SURE!
