Lol at the handout comment, blackberry!! :rotfl:

Yep, I've heard that flaxseed is effective. Would you have to syn the capsules though?? Are they oil?? I just remember when I went to class that one lady took codliver oil capsules & had to syn them.

1/2 syn per cod liver oil capsule...... I presume flaxseed will be the same. I was taking parsley oil capsules for my tum and they were 1/2 syn when the consultant checked...and I was supposed to take up to 9 a day!! (ditched them & started eating the raw stuff instead :p)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
It's not something I buy so I don't tend to notice it, where have you tried?? I think I might have seen Nimble in Tesco & the co-op but couldn't say whether it was white or otherwise, sorry. I'll look next time I'm in both though.

Tried Tesco, Co-Op and Sainsbury, though it could be a local thing so might try further afield when I get a chance! Everywhere's got the wholemeal (except co-op) but sometimes I just want white bread!

    Thanks.

as I always "clam up" on WI day. I have used scan bran with good effect too, but it's hard to enjoy it.

    .

Ive been drinking lots of green tea with lemon juice, and just hot water with lemon juice.....I really do think its helping in the old solid poo department :o;)

Yes sweetie you can, my mum uses all her syns at weekends and it works for her (mostly wine - what a lush!) but I personally think you are better using then on a day to day basis mostly but whatever suits you!

Just enjoy your meal and don't feel guilty.
 I'm with your Mum, thats what I have always done. been at Target since March 17th 2010.

  • :rotfl: Didn't take too long for the conversation to get back around to poo, did it? ;)

Ruby, I'd be really concerned about being sick the day after eating bread. I know we're not supposed to give medical advice so my advice would be to check it with your doctor.

This, please do get checked out, or try going wheat & gluten free for a while. I spent a period of time off gluten and dairy, and it did me the world of good, and I will do it again if I feel the need to :) if you are getting those symptoms after 2 weeks off it, I have a strong hunch you are likely to be intollerant, rather than celiac, as the effects for that tend to be more noticeable after 6 months off.

I wont have too much of a prob declining excess beer (though Ive been recommended to try a strawberry flavoured beer while i'm there......strawberries=superspeed food winner :T )

    COUGH COUGH! :p

I'm only jealous. Have fun! How did physio go today?
there is no law (SW or UK law!) that says you have to eat cereal or bread at breakfast - eat what you want. You can have leftovers from the night before if you want.

I must confess this is what I do quite often ;) A tin of spaghetti hoops is quite nice for brekkie, or leftovers.

I'm not confessing my food today :p Or tomorrow :o Should be back on plan and cooking batches and batches of Dyno soup on Sunday though :T
