mussels bleugh _pale_ (I really wish I liked fishy things :o)

Sadly I wont have any problems with the chips & mayonaise :p

Im looking forward to seeing all the lovely fairytale looking buildings there too :)

Lucky Dizzy! have you seen the film "In Bruges" with Colin Farrell (now he's more of a drool than pancakes with chocolate, surely?) It's hilarious, and I think features that church mentioned ^^^ up there! I seriously think you should watch it before you go!

I'm off out to the Indian restaurant, prob not too wise after a COLONIC IRRIGATION! So far so good, I kind of enjoyed it but not in a pervy way, it was very strange. The Colonist (?) and I knew a lot of the same people and both also worked in the UAE years ago, so we gossipped and giggled the whole time. Just a bit surreal chatting noncholantly with someone who is holding a pipe up yer bum.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Back from my colonic and as Fitorbust says "definitely interesting"!
Not the worst thing I've ever been through (I even have another appointment) - the therapist was a lovely lady, very gentle, very discreet, and I didn't feel too uncomfortable with the (w)hole experience!:rotfl: I wouldn't fancy her job though! Time will tell whether it has helped with my little "problem"! And I've been eating so healthily too - dynorod soup didn't do it - all I got was sound and no action! :o
A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!! :(
    Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!
  • Another idea is to hardboil a few eggs, you can grab a couple as you leave if you eat cereal and remain hungry.

Thanks for the reminder re hard boiled eggs! I usually take one to work with me when I knowI'll be extra peckish. I'll hard boil a few tonight to take with me for the train tomorrow :)

Can someone please check out the philidelphia situation for me. I seem to remember reading on here the debate about soft cheese only being a HEB choice and NOT a HEA. Am I going mad [don't answer that :p] or did I imagine it. I quite fancy giving it a go with pasta but not sure now which HE to use it with :o.

Yep you are right! Philadelphia is only a HEB and then only on the green plan. It is not a HEA on any plan. But it is very low in syns and well worth a few syns!

Yeah it's better if you cook the cous cous first - otherwise you risk breaking a tooth :)

Can someone confirm how many A & B choices we are allowed.
    When I did slimming world years ago I was allowed 2 A's & 2 B's.

    Now on the web site it says 1 A & 1 B.

    its confusing me .
    Kindness costs nothing :)
