What a wonderful surprise being whisked away Dizzy, I so wish my DH would think of things like that. I struggle to get him to think about an annual holiday
Ive had a real crappy couple of years with my Ops so hes been really lovely with it....this is a little last minute treat before my next Op in a few weeks (before I get my magic new ears & I can hear him whingeing about me he says :rotfl::rotfl:)
I only really started back on Monday properly but am weighing in on a Friday morning (??) and so in my first (1/2) week I have lost 3lb :T I have promised myself a new pair of boots when I get to the 1st stone so that's an incentive as I love gorgeous boots
Have a good weekend everyone!
Well done on the loss so far :j:j:T great idea having a little incentive to keep you focussed on getting to target

Oooh, well done you!! And a great idea to reward yourself with something like that as wearing gorgeous boots will make you feel even better about yourself, as well as the feeling of satisfaction that you've lost your stone
Hope that made sense - kids are watching Glee on catch-up & I can't concentrate - aaaarrrggghhhh!!!!
Also hubby has just walked in with fish & chips & I can smell them - double aaaarrrggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!0 -

Can someone please check out the philidelphia situation for me. I seem to remember reading on here the debate about soft cheese only being a HEB choice and NOT a HEA. Am I going mad [don't answer that
] or did I imagine it. I quite fancy giving it a go with pasta but not sure now which HE to use it with
.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Don't post often but maybe I should - keep up with the thread all the time though. Perhaps I will stay better on the straight & narrow if I post my meals LOL. Put on about 5lb over the festive season, lost 2lb of that this week. Todays meals:

Could I go green with this menu & have 2 As & 2 Bs??
Been to Morrisons & got some fibre plus bars & Penguin wafers - tks to whoever posted those offers! Love how everyone likes the milk choccy fibre plus - but I love the dark choccy ones so there's always loads left. What are the syns on the penguin wafers please??New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . 57g of 'Medium fat soft cheese' is a HEB but only (I think) on green days. I got in such a faff with that myself as I'm used to EE. I made pasta with Philly last week but I wanted bacon and mushrooms with it so ended up synning it instead. I used extra light which is 2 syns for 28g, so I reckoned the 50g I used at about 3.5 syns.
Have a great time in Bruges dizzy. It's a lovely place. I don't thik you need worry about the euro. If you just think of them as £s then you're getting it a little cheaper (but not much:(). The Belgian national dish is mussels, chips and mayonnaise. Mussels are free and speedy but sadly not the frites or mayonnaise.0 -
