I'm going to have a go at the KFC recipe using cous cous for definate.....sounds lush by all accounts.
Im not a fan of fish (unless its from the chippy) but Maybe a piece of haddock done this way might just get me eating a bit more of it

Back from my colonic and as Fitorbust says "definitely interesting"!
Not the worst thing I've ever been through (I even have another appointment) - the therapist was a lovely lady, very gentle, very discreet, and I didn't feel too uncomfortable with the (w)hole experience!:rotfl:
Naughty teecee, but that did make me laugh!! :rotfl:
Glad you & blackberry both came out of it unscathed, but it's definitely not for me _pale_
I've heard 'In Bruges' is a very good film, although lots of sweary words so be warned if you're of a delicate disposition, dizzy!!
TIE, be careful when you use the philly, I did it a while back & kept the heat on when I was mixing it into the pasta, made a right mess of the bottom of the pan, took hubby ages to clean it off!!0 -
Anyone seen white Nimble anywhere please? Friday night & I'm thinking of bread - dear God :rotfl:0

Yep, it certainly helps in that department but I do feel sorry for my family when I'm eating itMy last batch had cannellini, aduki & baked beans as well as mushy peas & lentils & all the different veg - a toxic combination!! :rotfl:
Have you tried scanbran?? I know lots of people find them dry & cardboardy but as long as you top them generously with something like quark, cheese triangles, tomatoes etc. & drink plenty of water alongside them they give good results, iykwim?!0 -

It's not something I buy so I don't tend to notice it, where have you tried?? I think I might have seen Nimble in Tesco & the co-op but couldn't say whether it was white or otherwise, sorry. I'll look next time I'm in both though.0 -

The Colonist gave me a little handout after my colonic (no, not that!) and one of the instructions or recommendations was to take Flaxseed capsules. She said they are good for constipation (which I don't suffer from) but also good generally, so I may try taking one or two a day - and I might consider taking the max of four the day before weigh in just to see if it makes a difference as I always "clam up" on WI day. I have used scan bran with good effect too, but it's hard to enjoy it.
The other comment she made was that fat free plain yog probably doesn't have much in the way of health benefits and as I really don't like it I am going back to regular (woooo full fat) yoghurt, as I will use it far more. I will work out the syns in a large pot and subtract them from my total weekly syns, see how many per day that leaves me.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Lol at the handout comment, blackberry!! :rotfl:
Yep, I've heard that flaxseed is effective. Would you have to syn the capsules though?? Are they oil?? I just remember when I went to class that one lady took codliver oil capsules & had to syn them.0 -
