Ok, I was 0.5lb off my target of 2lbs to get my half stone award but I'm still very, very, very, very, very happy with it. It shows my home scales are 2lbs out from the SW ones too.
Also got Slimmer of the Week somehow & got a bag of fruit, pilchards & 3 cans of baked beans. Onward & downward.

Hope the colonic goes well - as I said before - it is an interesting experience. Without going into too many details all I can say is that the quote from the 'experience' for me was "who's been eating sweet corn?"....... so be aware of what you eat today will be seen tomorrow! lol
x
Fitorbust - I'm going for my first colonic tomorrow too and I didn't think about the consequences of what I've been eating today until I read your post! :eek: No sweetcorn though!:rotfl:A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:

not if you're willing to eat low syn the rest of the week, but the chilli would be a safer, closer to the plan choice...but sw isn't about restricting, we can eat whatever we like as long as we're willing to accept we might not lose that week. Have a flexi day and get straight back on the plan
Thanks - I've not eaten any dairy for 5.5 years but they do taste like mars bar maybe even sweeter - friends have tried them and love them, they do vegan bounty, snickers and milky way too - wont post a link on a slimming thread, not very fair! Each bar is 12 syns so thats why I've 3 left - and they were £1.75 each!
I might see if I can have the chilli with salsa to make the chilli less dry or I could take some soya yoghurt maybe as a dip - Mexican and Pizza restaurants are hard - I eat every 2-3 weeks at the Chinese in Birmingham and have always lost those weeks. Think I need to save my flexi days for my birthday next month as I will need a flexi weekend then! Don't like doing low syns for rest of the week, will stick to water and not beer.
Thinking about it 2 wheat tortillas might give me stomach ache, I had a slice of homecooked bread and some dishes cooked with oil recently and got such a bad stomach ache after - think my body was protesting about different food!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

It's been a really hectic week at work, so I haven't had much time to catch up with all the recent posts yet. I hope everyone's doing well. Thank goodness it's nearly the weekend :j.
A very quick summary of my week so far:
* Lost 1lb :j
* As I am cooking at home more rather than buying ready meals, invested in a Kenwood Chef, and extra saucepans!
* Discovered I really, really hate Quark. :rotfl:0 -
Evening all,
Happy Birthday Blackberry :beer:
Well done losers :T:T:T
Didn't I read on here that philidelphia is only a HEb & not HEa?
Food today:
B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, quiche [1], toms, melon, activia, pear
T - pork curry [1.5],[onions, mushrooms, baby corn, peas, potatoes, toms] pasta
Snacks - pears, carrot, pineapple, melon, pear, onken, meringue [3]
Syns - 5.5
The schwartz slowcook curry mix didn't really taste of much so had to add more curry powder & cumin seeds to give a bite. Don't rate the 2 s/slowcook mixes I've had so far, really don't taste of much and not enough liquid in them. They were both edible though.
Ok am really, really tired so off to bed, night all x xIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

When low carbing we used to make an egg and spinach base then just add any topping you like.
Base
4 eggs beaten
8-10 'nuggets' of frozen spinach.
Let the spinach defrost then squeeze as much of the water out of it as you can. Add to beaten eggs and pour the mixture into a dish so it is about quarter inch deep (any less depth and it will just dry out). Pop it into the oven - 200C for about 10 - 15 mins or until set. Let it cool and move it onto a baking sheet. I put mine on a silicone sheet so I can remove it easily. Top with whatever you like but you will have to syn the tomato ketchup
I would think you could use frylight to grease the baking dish for the egg and spinach mixture.
All you spinach haters! My DH hates the stuff but loves this wannabe pizza.
Base would be free on either red or green and spinach is soooooo good for you - honest! :rotfl:Mags - who loves shopping0 -
Evening everyone!
Happy Birthday Blackberry!
Well done to our resident SoW's!
1lb off for me this week. A little disappointed, but at the same time I am happy with it. I've consistently lost for the past 7 weeks (6.5lb) so it's a good average. I am 0.5lb away from my 2.5 stone, 1.5 away from my higher target and my BMI is 24.5 so I am healthy! YAY!0 -
