Oh yeh, Skintslimmer, I know you have steri-strips, but I'd consider getting some stitches if your wound is open again. The scar will be much neater, but you might not be bothered about it
Hope it heals nicely for you now!

I'm meeting a friend for lunch at my fave Mexican restaurant Sat - use to go 2-3 times a month but since joining SW last Sept Ive been once! I had veggie chilli and rice last time but it was a bit dry. I'm wondering if I should risk my fave meal - quesadillas? I would ask for them without cheese or sour cream or guacamole and go for plain mixed leaf salad, fillings are either refried beans or cajun chick pea rattatouille. Those are the vegan options but not sure which is best - I have a tin of refried beans which is fat free but would a restaurant add fat?
I think Quaesdillas without the cheese would be an okish SW friendly choice, but I'm afraid as its a restuatant they probably add fat to EVERYTHING *rolls eyes* What about asking for the quaesdillas with 100% of the filling, (minus cheese etc) and only one tortilla if you're worried about the wheat effect? or what about enchiladas if they do them - if its a tomatoey sauce I would think that's a good choice, and you can always fish out as much tortilla as you want, and leave the yummy filling. A salad or a jacket potato (take your own vitalite) would go well with it.Queen_of_NO_MATTER_WHAT wrote: »anyone know of a sw way to make pizza? i have vague memory of a smash base but cant quite remember...anyone know?
I think it was just make up the smash to quite a stiff mixture, leave to stand for 20 mins (I never did) and then shape and bake in the oven until crisped up a bit, then add topping and repeat. You could add egg if it won't stay in one piece?
Thanks for reminding me of thisOh yeh, Skintslimmer, I know you have steri-strips, but I'd consider getting some stitches if your wound is open again. The scar will be much neater, but you might not be bothered about itHope it heals nicely for you now!
First of all, sorry for grossing everyone out! I don't think they would stitch it though - hasn't it got to be a new wound for that - mine's 6 weeks old? Its a shame if the scar isn't neat, but not the end of the world - i'm one of those people who is quite fascinated by my scar and think it'll be a talking pointThey'll be operating on it again soon anyway, but |I won't write more cos I'll probably gross you all out
Think of it this way, if you're all grossed out and feeling all pale and ill you won't be reaching for the syns anytime soon. In fact, I think I'm doing you all a public service and you should be darn grateful :rotfl:

Well I weighed in (at home of course!) last night and have lost 3lbs this week! However I then promptly spent all night being sick because I ate bread yesterday! I haven't had bread in any form for about 2 weeks (since I got back on the SW wagon) and it seems that my body has just rejected it. Well at least I know the weight loss is genuine and not because I've been ill!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

Well done to all you losers! Dizzy - great losses since you returned from holiday. To the poster who was disappointed to lose 2 on first week, I lost 2 on first week and then 4 on second week and so it will all work out.
Well at WI last night I put on 2 pounds - not happy but had struggled this week and it's star week. Still I am not happy about it and determined to lose it asap !0 -
- Mexican and Pizza restaurants are hard -
Tell me about it!!! why do you think I gained 11lb during my holiday there:rotfl::rotfl:the food is so damn nice tho
Evening everyone!
1lb off for me this week. A little disappointed, but at the same time I am happy with it. I've consistently lost for the past 7 weeks (6.5lb) so it's a good average. I am 0.5lb away from my 2.5 stone, 1.5 away from my higher target and my BMI is 24.5 so I am healthy! YAY!
remember the saying : slow & steady wins the race!like you say, you've lost it consistently :T well done hun x

I usually either sts or have a gain at that time too so dont stress over it.....you will most likely have a super duper loss next week to make up for it if you fight the food fairy urges from pmt

Morning, had a little lie in as not taking DD to school because she has a hospital appt. The extra hour or 2 was nice as i'm usually up as 6.30am on a friday and working til about midnight or later.
Will have another green day today.
Using 1/2 an A for milk in tea/coffee
Breakfast will be fruit/yoghurt and 2 x alpen light (B). Will have that as late as possible though as won't have much time for lunch!
Will have some HM lentil soup, quorn burger(2.5) - is it possible to overdose on these:eek: I have had about 4 this week:rotfl: WM roll (B) possibly SW chips and probably beans before i go to work. Then will take some more fruit and yoghurt to work with the necessary kitkat(finished my penguin wafers yesterday:()
Need to restock the fruit bowl, have a £5 off a £25 spend at M&S so that should buy enough fruit for the week.
Well done losers, onwards and downwards. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
well done dizzy, another fab loss
skintslimmer ooh your leg sounds horrible hope you are able to get it seen to pronto!
Well I am struggling. I have to admit it.
the problem i am having is that I am starving in the mornings - I simply dont have time and can't really afford to eat a big 'fry up' or omelette every morning and the days I have cereal I am still ravenous and nothing else seems suitable to eat before lunchtime. I can manage lunch and dinner - pasta, rice, meat etc all lovely. But I am finding myself really struggling with the mornings and it's making me eat junk and go off plan cos fruit just doesn't do the trick, i can't see what else i can do when i have already had my heA abd B for the cerealBetty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
BettyB i am having the same problem.
in fact i just ate a wholemeal bagel with marmite that i got from the bagel factory stand in the station.
and i am pretty sure that just blew all my syns for the day0
