  • Hi everyone *waves*

Question about wholemeal pitta bread...in my branded free food book, the back section lists branded healthy extras...in there 1x55g Asda wholemeal pitta can be used as a healthy extra b choice, but I can’t find any other supermarket branded wholemeal pitta bread listed as a healthy extra...I know this seems like a daft question but doesn’t that mean any other branded one isn’t a HeB only the Asda one?

    (Confused face)

Also I heard someone say at group that they used Philadelphia light as a HeA but I can’t find it listed in the branded foods book...am I looking in the wrong place? I’d like to have it but don’t know what the measurement would be?

    (an even more confused face)

That aside I’ve been on plan today...

    I’ve eaten:
    onken ff strawberry yogurt,
    2 bananas,
a punnet of blueberries (slowly getting through them),
2 apples, a small handful of grapes,
quorn mince (made into chilli with chopped tomatoes, peppers, courgette, red onion)
4 Harvest morn less than 70 kcal choc and orange cereal bars (2 x HeB) – is it just me or are cereal bars really morish? - btw I didn't eat 4 all at once!
    Options hot choc (2 syns)

Have been neutral so far today so could go either red or green for dinner...if the philly is a HeA I’m thinking I’ll make it green and have pasta with philly/quark and lots of garlic and veggies, if it isn’t I’ll go red and have some left over pork chops with lots of superfree veggies

I’ve got another apple and 2 satsumas in my draw incase and I’ll prob have some more blueberries and ff natural yog, and cup of hot milk (HeA) before bed.

    OMG I’ve eaten loads!
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

With the pittas I asked the same thing as I had Sainburys in the cupboard. The only thing I could think of is that Asdas are 55g (6.5 syns), Sainsburys 59g (7 syns), Morrisons 60g (7 syns) and Tesco are 60g (8.5 syns).

So it must be down to the fact the asda ones are less syns, but I'd consider just using a HEB plus x syns (the difference).

Aha, found it, thanks Veryvery :D

Wootball, does your OH measure herself?? That might give her a boost if she sees inch loss?? I do feel for her because I know I would be really [STRIKE]peed off[/STRIKE] disheartened if I wasn't losing weight although I tell myself that what it says on the scales is not the be all and end all, hard to put that into practice though.

No she doesn't. I will recommend it though, thank you.
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Ok so it's only what i put on last time but at least i've lost it. Makes me feel more motivated, i've also taken my measurements so that will hopefully help too.

bit miffed, i looked up breaded pollock on the calculator thingy and one fillet works out at 9.5 syns which is abit more than i thought it would be.

thing is i only like unfishy fish if that makes sense. i need to find something else lower in syns
