A few hours ago i noticed the 'freezer high temp' light on. Checked freezer, seemed ok but turned it up a bit and put the fast freeze on. Light is still on and now stuff looks like its starting to defrost:( I have loads of stuff in my freezer:(
Oh dear

Nice to see you've ventured over from OS board. Taplady does SW too, so there are a few OSer's on SW!
I do SW at home by myself too, and I count HM wholemeal bread as a healthy extra with no problems. Just need to weigh it (57g).
I can't give much help with the baking side as I try not to when on SW. I get my sweet hit from sugar free jelly (0.5syns per quarter of sachet when made up) and LF creme fraiche (1.5syns per tablespoon), and fruit.
HTH and good luck!

hey missus
Do you make up your jelly in each quarter or do you make the whole thing and then count a quarter of that??
Really wish I liked fruit but I just don't. Most of it makes me gagI can eat apples and bananas but lets face it after a while they are not very interesting.

I think I got rid of my fairies over night - they can't like the cold, lol. Managed to stay on track today, however went slightly awry in that I started out thinking I was doing EE then found Green was easier for lunch
Hope it doesn't matter too much either way - still better than the white bread doorstops & crisps I was eating for lunch!
No syns today as I was sooo naughty over the weekend I have to be punished:rotfl: But I don't feel deprived - just means I have to stick with Diet Coke instead of a glass of WW Rose (which isn't half bad for 4 syns actually!) Hubby is cooking a lovely free (on green & EE!) chicken risotto with the rubber chicken from yesterday's roast
Stick with it everyone - nothing tastes as good as being slim feels0 -

It's always going to be difficult to lose weight successfully with SW if you won't eat fruit and veg.....which reminds me - I once had a member at group who told me she was vegetarian but didn't like veggies much - go figure :rotfl::rotfl:
We aren't talking about 'dieting' here (SW don't do diets) we are trying to learn to eat healthily while losing weight.
If you are only used to one meal a day, may I ask what you would normally eat? Have you much weight to lose?
There are lots of ways of incorporating vegetables into your meals so that you hardly notice them - chillis, curries, cottage pies with lots of added onions, tomatoes, mushrooms etc.
You really should try to find something you can eat and enjoy and I'm all in favour of just sticking with it till you do begin to think it's actually ok. I did this with cottage cheese; years ago I couldn't stand the stuff but persevered and now I love it.
If you haven't already, one day you may have children and they will follow your example.....if you eat healthily you will give them a fantastic start to a healthy lifeI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I make up the whole sachet and just quarter it and serve it that way, even if I ate the whole bowlful (which I couldn't!) it would only be 2syns anyway so not a huge temptation :rotfl:. It lasts for bout 5 days in fridge anyway.
