Morning everyone, was so proud of myself yesterday, managed to stay away from the doughnuts at work that a kind relative brought for us!

    Yesterday's EE menu was:

    B: Branflakes with milk (HE A & B)
L: Jacket potato with baked beans
D: Roast Beef, Dry roast potatoes, cauliflower, peas, carrots, brocolli
    S: Apple, Pear, Banana, Mullerlight

So a couple of syns for the beef and potatoes, think I did quite well!

    Today is Green for me:

    B: Branflakes with milk (HE A & B)
    L: Haven't decided yet
D: Pasta with quorn mince and some chopped tomatoes, and herbs

Well done on all the losses!

Morning lads and lasses! Not quite sure why I'm in a good mood, perhaps cos the sun is shining after a few days of rain.

    Plan for today:

B - fruit, yog (forgot the oats, oops)
L - chicken, roasted veg and cous cous
D - jacket potato, ff cottage cheese and salad

    S - banana, apple, weetabix + milk (HEA+HEB)

Re not liking fruit / veg, I really don't like much veg either. At the moment I'm sticking to ones I like and adding just one or two others to each meal hoping I'm going to start liking them. I did read somewhere that you have to try things about 30 times before you like them, so I'm determined to persevere. Also, I find that covering salad in balsamic vinegar hides the taste of some elements I don't like.

  • Goooooooood Morning Slimmers! :D

Well I'm off out for lunch today. Since its apparently my birthday treat I'm insisting we go somewhere which does jacket spuds ;)

Not sure what dinner is going to be yet. I fancy a HM lasagne, but I don't fancy putting the work in to putting one together :rotfl:

  • Morning All,

Glad to report i lost 2lbs last night :j

My brother lost 7lbs and got his first shiny certificate - all in his first week! :T:T:T

Hoping to loose 2lbs again this week - going to spend more time on the exercise bike at home :o - giving up the gym now - saving money!

    Green day today

    B - Banana, yogurt & 1 alpen light (1/2heb)
    S - Grapes, apple, yogurt
L - Pasta with passata, mushrooms, onions & cannelini beans
    S - Alpen light (1/2heb)
D - not sure  - have butternut squash, swede in the house - might go for Quorn sausages with swede, mash & gravy! Gravy made with bovril & lots of onions! Mash with 42g low low cheese (hea) on top nom nom
S - Fibre Plus Bar (heb)
    Milk in coffees (hea)

I am going to save my butternut squash for the weekend - it cost me £3 - it is massive but i need to have time to savour it lol nice roasted butternut squash with chilli flakes nom nom - i am now dribbling with the thought!

Went to dentist yesterday - not very helpful - said yes your wisdom tooth is coming through, gave it a poke & clean & gave me some anitbiotics - Great!

Just remembered someone was asking if they are the only one who likes Scan Bran - i like it - i put quark & either options or lemon curd on it - gorgeous - crispy & very filling

I must be strange - i would much rather have butternut squash, swede & scan bran than chocolate at the moment! The wisdom must be coming to me now! :rotfl:

Good luck everyone - we CAN do it x
  • how much of it have you eaten by the time you read this post?

    What's left:
Bread - go for a walk and feed the ducks :T
Readymeal - can you bear to have half of it at a time with lots of superfree veg?
Yoghurts - My my they are delish :o have you got a family? If so eat one and feed the rest to them?

I had eaten the meal, half the bread and 2 of the yogs, I chucked the bread, and gave the other 2 puds to my boys, not that they like them, strange children! :rotfl:

Well I beleive 'AF' is on her way, I have been rediculously tearful and down, and just have that 'feeling'

I have also been thinking about joining an actual group, one of the girls at the toddler group I go to is rejoining on Thursday and asked if I wanted to come with her, my online subscription ends next week anyways so thought maybe a proper group is what I need right now x

'you are forgiven my child :rotfl::rotfl:'

Oh thank you so much, oh great one! :D

Actually, I didn't even enjoy it that much. Perversly(sp) I'm actually pleased I've eaten it because at least it's gone now and It's stopped tormenting me every time I open the fridge.

Last nights dinner was yummy (made up concoction of lean pork cooked with peepers, mushrooms red onion etc. and served with couscous, (made waaay too much so will probably have it again today)

I hope everyone is well and supeglueing(sp) their backsides to the wagon and keeping those pesky food fairies at bay.

    Hi Ruby

I was looking at your meals you had yesterday and wandered why you felt you should syn the beef and potatoes.

You say this was an EE day, meat and potatoes are free on this plan.

    Or am I missing something?

Well Peeps Ive got a mahoosive pan of Dyno Rod on the boil

Not too sure what Mr Dizzy will say smiley-fart006.gif

  • i 'm not looking forward to WI tomorrow :( it's star week and I'v struggled, cos it's my first week back at class (after going it along for a while, joined last week first WI in this week) I don't want to go and STS or gain, when usually people have big losses their first week...I know if I avoid it I won't stay be motivated to get back on track :\ it's a lunch time class so I could weigh and run but I know staying to class would be the best thing to do...grrr I'm so cross with myself :(

well it's 45 mins until my class and I've decided I'm just going to go and face the music. It's not rocket science, if I stick to the plan I lose weight, if I eat what I like I don't lose weight!

    Red day today:

Breakfast: melon, blueberries, banana, fat free yogurt semi skimmed milk for teas (HeA)
    Snack: Apple

Snack after WI - 2 slices of SW quiche with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes

Late lunch: small portion of shep pie made with lean mince and celeriac topping instead of potato

Dinner: chicken with roasted courgette, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes

Not sure what else I'll snack on but I've got some blueberries, cherry toms, in my draw and am going to pick up some alpen lights on way abck from wi for HeB
