  • daisy, sorry you're feeling so down, you've had a lot to cope with these last few months & I know it hasn't been easy. This thing with hubs job is a set-back, but you will work things out I'm sure. xx

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Not feeling very cheery today as I'm full of cold :( but I will soldier on because I'm such a martyr!! :rotfl:

Today is a [STRIKE]feeling sorry for myself[/STRIKE] green day

    B - 2 chocolate weetabix (HEB + 2), banana, milk (half HEA)
L - blended dynorod with added cumin, plain baked potato or 2 (I like to just nibble at them)
D - probably more blended dynorod

I'm living dangerously with 2 bowls of dynorod but I just really fancy soup today & that's all there was in the freezer. I have sweet potatoes, butternut squash & parsnips ready to make more soup but I'm at that 'sudden dewdrop' stage of my cold so don't want to risk it!! Yes, I know, far TMI, hope I haven't put anyone off their lunch!! :rotfl:

Btw, dizzy, I wonder if you both eat dynorod soup it has the 'garlic effect' of not being able to smell it (or rather the results of ;)) on the other person, iykwim?! :rotfl:

Right, off to get my baked spuds & hopefully watch The Biggest Loser on catch-up - you lot talking about it have got me hooked!! :p

Oh & muchos congratulations to our own biggest losers/SOTW's etc etc!! :T

Hi all, dodgy hugs to those who the faries are getting at :grouphug:

Well made OH go for a walk last night - quite nice as we're getting to know our 'ickle village and I like peering into peoples windows when the lights are on & the curtains are open ;) Just being nosy at decor - not a perv honest! Hopefully if we do that a few times when he's at home it'll get me into the habit though still nervous about going out alone as it's sooo dark round here. I didn't realise I was so unfit however! It was a fairly gentle walk but I couldn't get up the gentle hill to the house without stopping twice :o

Having quite a good EE day today though it seems the more I eat the hungrier I become!
B; pudding rice & yoghurt with grapes (is it ok on EE to have the grapes separately instead of in the bowl? Not sure it would go!)
L; leftover 0 syn chicken risotto
D; leftover shepherd's pie with lots of veggies
(HEa - cheese on top of shepherd's pie HEb - Hi-Fi bar with last cuppa of the day 0.5 syns splash of milk in tea)

Again, minimal syns today as I'm hoping for at least 2lbs on Thursday and the fairies got me Saturday & Sunday!

Oh thank you so much, oh great one! :D

Actually, I didn't even enjoy it that much. Perversly(sp) I'm actually pleased I've eaten it because at least it's gone now and It's stopped tormenting me every time I open the fridge.

Last nights dinner was yummy (made up concoction of lean pork cooked with peepers, mushrooms red onion etc. and served with couscous, (made waaay too much so will probably have it again today)

I hope everyone is well and supeglueing(sp) their backsides to the wagon and keeping those pesky food fairies at bay.

Ooh eyeballs, are they syn free...? :rotfl:

SW isn't helping with that - the last thing he needs is my low fat cooking for dinner!

I'm actually having to put extra food on his plate, add oil and cheese to his meals to try to help him GAIN weight - wish i could just lipo it out of me and into him!!! :p

Only on red or EE I'm guessing - same category as offal? _pale_ :rotfl:
  • Well I’m pleased to report that despite my best efforts at sabotage I actually lost 4.5lb this week :T:j:beer:

And the consultant gave out a recipe for 12 speed soup which I’m guessing the is same as dyno rod soup?

Here's to another week of slimming world...and due to the loss I feel spurred on to stick to the plan 100%

hes gone from 30" waist to 32" and hes mortified :rotfl: ;)

Has anyone tried the Quorn chicken style pieces (frozen) ?

Im a complete Quorn virgin....but I saw this in Asda on offer at £1 at the weekend so thought I'd try it, not been brave enough yet though smiley-ashamed005.gif

It says you can do curries & stir frys with it though.
