WI for me this evening - hoping for good results as only gone over syns 2 days this week - the others were below 5 as i was so busy doing my Uni work (i am sure i have failed) that i didn't even think of it!

Wisdom tooth is playing me up - got dentist at 3pm today - hopefully won't be too expensive - it is NHS but normally get charged a small fortune!

Just need to pop to a shop before i go to pick up some mouthwash as i had pasta with mushrooms & onions with lots of garlic earlier!

I feel sorry for dentists - although i couldn't do what they do!

Fingers crossed for my brother as well - it seems he has done really well this week - one day he had 14 diff fruit & veg - considering about a week ago the only veg he would eat is onion! Its really good going - nearly fell off my chair when he told me!

Aim for this week - more exercise - have an excercise bike at home - Auntie is giving me an ab trainer thing & i am getting a cross trainer soon - going to give up my gym membership at £34 a month - will be saving this towards Christmas this year!

Also going to aim to drink more water - i normally start off well in the week - but weekends let me down!

Well done everyone on the losses & good luck to those still got to weigh in x

Well today is going to be EE.

    Lunch
2x weetabix and milk (HEA and B)
2 tsp light sugar (1 syn)
    Carrots and Broccoli veg pack

    Dinner
Roast beef with lots of veg (2 syns for gravy)

So that's both HE used and 3 syns so far. I think I will try and save the remaining syns as I have a nice pack of dauphinoise potatoes to have on Wednesday which will be around 10 syns.

I'm also likely to be going out to yo sushi for dinner tomorrow! I'm planning on eating before I go and then just eating rice (I assume this is free?) but I think we're going to be short on time which is not good.

    Aggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!! What is my problem??????!!!!!!!!
Went to Morrissons today and bought white french stick, and a pack or rolo yogurts, oh and a full fat sausage ready meal, why oh why oh why?
I don't know what is wrong with me this week, I have been doing so well up until now.
Now I know that on Thursday I am going to have gained as there is no way enough time to sort this little mess out :o

were you hungry when you went shopping? its usually a killer if you do as suddenly "everything" suddenly becomes very appealing...
I know it sounds blindingly obvious but have you tried "dodging" the danger allies? I don't go down the choccy/cake aisles etc as I know there shouldn't be anything down there that I want-in fact the smell of the choc aisle now makes me feel ikky :T...
Hope you can balance out the higher syn stuff with plenty of superfree

Laughed out loud when I saw this - dizzy I don't know where you find your smilies but this one's a cracker!! :rotfl:

I really shouldn't eat soup when I'm reading this thread, what with the funny smilies & the toilet talk (yes ladies, big wees & number 2's were definitely TMI!! :rotfl:) I nearly spluttered all over my laptop!!

Well silly me must have missed the chocolate weetabix in Tesco last week - saw them today (not with the ordinary weetabix mind) & they were on offer £2 instead of £2.50 something - offer ends tomorrow if anyone wants to try them - they are nice.

    lo_bush that's a fantastic loss, well done!! :T

    Afternoon everybody,
    Well done to all.
My first weigh in and ive lost 3lbs :j

Had a bit to many syns over the weekend but back to being good now. Phew.

Regarding the "getting up in the night" department, ive found that if i cut down on the amount of fruit i have, im ok. HTH.

    Anyway have a good day.
    xx

Ditsy - well done on your loss :j

Since I started last summer, I have found the plan easy to follow and have had a few flexible days when needed. However this last week I have been really struggling and feeling hungry and had too many syns on a few days! Don't really know what the problem is and start the day with good intentions but somehow it goes wrong. I going to really try to be strict next few days before WI on Thursday night and try to exercise each day to try and limit the damage.

really struggling here - after my measly 1lb loss after huge efforts last weds - had some horrible news about hubs job which threw me but with doing weekly syns i managed to stay on plan and within syns even through i felt like throwing myself into a vat of wine
went out at the weekend but again weekly syns were my friend and now have 50 left until friday which is fine - ish - still would rather have oblivion tbh :(
anyway so today - i just cant stop eating not really hungry as such just comfort eating really
so far ive had - porridge an apple 2 satsumas jkt pot lc light baked beans and salad for lunch ( never have anything that big at lunch !! ) half a bowl of hm turkey and barley soup and a banana
dinner will be chicken and veg pasta and sauce with a salad but am just cooking the pasta for the children now and thinking about having a small dish

    dreading weds again now :(

I felt a bit like that at first, so I switched mentalities for 10 mins, and counted the calories I'd had. When the majority of your food is fruit, veg and lean meat, even if you eat lots your calorie count is suprisingly low.
