Thanks, Skintslimmer. I don't think my class sells them, just the hifi bars, but I will have a look in the health shop the next time I am in town.:):)Skintslimmer wrote: »You can buy them in your class (although not all consultants stock them because they aren't very popular). I did hear that my local health food shop also stocked them, but since they're a slimming world brand thing I have no idea if this is true or not.0

Thanks, I'll have a look for them in H&B, there's one quite near me.:)
Awww, kitten sounds lovely - sounds like a 'Bertie' to meYou can get scan bran at Holland and Barrett and Waitrose as far as I know.
Kitten is here - deciding on a name - Jeeves or Bertie?? He is blackish and fluffy with white socks and tuxedo - very very cute. I tried to post a picture but can''t!
I'll try it in my avatar!

I keep waking up in the middle of the night for a wee, which is really infuriating. I've always had my last cuppa of the day at about 8.30pm, now I'm not sure if my bladder has decided that I'm just too old to hang out past 3.15am, or if it's something to do with being on SW. Anyone else have a similar problem since starting the plan?
YES!!This is only my second week of SW and the first week I was up every night for a wee (and sometimes not just a wee lol, sorry if that is TMI!). It's settled down a bit this week but I still seem to be going for a wee every 20 mins through the day. Hope it settles down soon

Well done to all you lovely losers.
Sarymclary can I just say I think if anything (compared to what I put away) it sounds as if you're not eating big enough portions (but I am a pig!)
Anyways, after a wobbly weekend I'm happy to report ....Drum roll 4lbs off this week. I'm giving myself a big pat on the back for that, especially as the Yorkie in my fridge remains untouched.
Well Bettyb and mrsM Have inspired me and being a big brave girly today and have a plan for an experimental dinner.
I had some lean pork pieces to use up so plan to cook them with some red onion, peppers, mushrooms etc. I've marinade the pork in some pork stock mixed with paprika herbs and garlic and was planning to eat it with couscous and a salad. Hope it all works out ok, I will report back if it's a success ( I'l keep it quiet if it's rubbish!)

Quick question - spaghetti hoops (big tin) is classed as 2 of your 5 a day, presumably because of the tomato sauce - could you class this as your 1/3 super free?
Wouldn't have thought so - the actualy % of tomatoes in the tin must be tiny , and I would imagine originates from tomato puree, which I don't think is superfree?Morning All
EE day for me..... not sure what Im eating yet for lunch & tea as Im running bit late for the dreaded physio
Hope physio goes well and you don't get sickThanks, Skintslimmer. I don't think my class sells them, just the hifi bars, but I will have a look in the health shop the next time I am in town.:):)
I think someone else mentioned the sell them in Holland and barett? Or did I imagine that?
Just back from a skin test at the hairdresser's - now papping it because a) I know someone who recently has a VERY severe allergic reaction to hair dye and almost died, and is set to take up to 2 years to be able to live normally again, and b) hairdresser cheerily informs me as she's slapping the stuff on that my dye has the same ingredients, oh and that people who have been taking (prescription) drugs (like me) are more likely to have a reaction! _pale_
Hey ho, at least I have a good 48 hours for the skin test to show any reaction (actually 72 since she is closed tomorrow) and I can console myself with the facts that most people are ok, and at least I'm having a proper skin test - my friend who reacted was given a 24 hour test, and apparently its common for the symptoms to take 48 hours to appear - so poor girl was not only reacting to the relatively small amount of dye on the test, but the whole lot which had been slapped on her head too! Lesson: Make sure your hairdresser does a 48 hour skin test.
Ho hum this was going to be a quick short post, so I'll just list my known meals:
alpen light bar (1/2 b)
Hm vegetable soup, and I'm going to cook some tortilla.
Fruit, and other alpen bar as a snack
Dinner will probably be a jacket spud with tuna mayo and salad - or I might cave in and have my all time favourite cheese & beans, because nothing beats that, ever
Syns are probably going to be the mayo and some fudge. There's a suprise :rotfl: Still, i worked out I could have 3 squares of fudge for 7.5 syns, so that's not bad, cos I can cut them up even smaller and when i have them with a brew it lasts for ages!
Happy slimming, and an on-the-waggon day for all todayNothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

Morning all
I feel like giving up! Had lost 15lb now 7lb back on. Just cant seem to get into it. Defin. comfort eating at the moment. So could do with a wee bit of inspiration. I am a member of a club. Need a good kick up the behind really.
Aww don't give up you just need to get your head in the 'right place' , try taking one day at a time. You say you know your comfort eating so try and establish whats making that happen and try to tackle that (Easier said than done I know and some things can't be dealt with quickly or easily)
Maybe you could reassess your own personal reasons for wanting/needing to lose weight and write those down as a reminder when the biscuit barrel calls. Or set yourself some 'mini goals' and work up to the bigger stuff such as ....today I will not eat chocolate, and when you achieve that congratulate yourself.
We all go through bad times and although you've asked for a kick up the bum thats not always the answer (mind you sometimes its exactly whats needed too). At the end of the day the only person that can turn things around is YOU. It's just a case of finding out what will work for you. Keep smiling. XXWhen Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0 -
So annoyed with myself - it's only my second week and I've been picking on biscuits & Dorito crumbs all weekend  I haven't even counted the syns, but on paper I have 30 left. Might have to do without them until Thursday to limit the damage
Really wanted at least 2lbs this week to get my half stone award. Maybe I will convince OH to go out for a brisk walk tonight - and if he stops at the pub I'll have a diet coke
He's going to 'do' something with the leftover chicken for tonights dinner as he's working from home - I just hope it's SW friendly!
Hope you're all losers!

This is NOT going to be a good weigh in week for me... I support Crewe and they beat local rivals Port Vale at the weekend who I hate with an absolute passion, so went on a little bit of a huge drinking binge on Saturday night... Admittedly I then spent the whole of yesterday running around (Paintballing) and have been to the gym every day, but still think the weekend may put a bit of a spanner in the works...Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Don't beat yourself up over it, it happened. We're all human and slip ups along the way are bound to happen. Try and put it behind you and fingers crossed the scales will be kind to you. When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0
