really struggling here - after my measly 1lb loss after huge efforts last weds - had some horrible news about hubs job which threw me but with doing weekly syns i managed to stay on plan and within syns even through i felt like throwing myself into a vat of wine
went out at the weekend but again weekly syns were my friend and now have 50 left until friday which is fine - ish - still would rather have oblivion tbh :(
anyway so today - i just cant stop eating not really hungry as such just comfort eating really
so far ive had - porridge an apple 2 satsumas jkt pot lc light baked beans and salad for lunch ( never have anything that big at lunch !! ) half a bowl of hm turkey and barley soup and a banana
dinner will be chicken and veg pasta and sauce with a salad but am just cooking the pasta for the children now and thinking about having a small dish

    dreading weds again now :(

Aww sorry you're having a rubbish time hun :(

You say you're worried about comfort eating/eating too much....but looking at what you've listed its all within plan & you have the superfrees :D so you're not breaking any rules there ;) I can think of far worse things you could be comforting yourself with!! :o

You still have some syns to keep you going until next WI for your little treats to keep you going, so just try keep focussed & Im sure you will be rewarded on the scales this week. I hope you feel better about things soon x x

I was going to say exactly the same, there is hardly any food there at all ....Is this an EE day?

You really do need to be having 1/3 of your plate filled with superfree fruit or veggies for the plan to work :o

Low syn days for the rest of the week.
hopefully wont be too big of a disaster.

Has anyone done Davina 'Power of 3' or '30 min workouts'???
They are quite old ones - from 2005 (?) i think - i am thinking of ordering them (good boxset deals on amazon)

Just back from WI gained 2½lb :( - but I deserved every ounce of it!
I knew I hadn't stuck to plan this weekend - had a "fat" craving that I just couldn't satisfy - so I devoured sausage rolls (which I usually don't crave!) a huge chunk of brie cheese (with cranberry sauce) and crackers and polished off a bottle of white wine (I'm usually a red girl)!
As if that wasn't enough I had lunch with my mum today and had a dessert of sticky toffee pudding (I NEVER eat desserts normally!)
Have given myself a severe talking to and now just need the rear end kick! :silenced:
    Tomorrow is another day! ashamed05.gif

Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!! :(
    Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!

Hello ladies. After many times on this board saying I won't ever "diet" again I have decided to give SW a go. I like the idea of intuitive eating but just can't manage the sweet stuff :o:o
Hope I can join you all :D I am doing it on my own (not attending meetings) so looking forward to lots of tips and recipe ideas.

Quick questions though - would HM wholemeal bread count as a healthy extra? Does anyone have any reasonably syn friends treats that you can make yourself, I don't want to be spending a fortune on processed stuff TBH and I am used to baking my own cakes and biccies (which is probably got me here in the first place ;):o) Oh and I am not really keen on fruit, just don't like it :o

    Many thanks

were you hungry when you went shopping? its usually a killer if you do as suddenly "everything" suddenly becomes very appealing...
I know it sounds blindingly obvious but have you tried "dodging" the danger allies? I don't go down the choccy/cake aisles etc as I know there shouldn't be anything down there that I want-in fact the smell of the choc aisle now makes me feel ikky :T...
Hope you can balance out the higher syn stuff with plenty of superfree
Yes I went straight after the school run so hadn't had any brekkie, I was intending to eat before the school run but as usual just didn't get round to it.

I had already eaten most of it by the time I had posted so no, no superfree :o

I should really just go back to online grocery shopping, make life alot easier as I never get tempted!
