could you take the mugshots and a flask of water to mix up?
a collague of mine takes died pasta, pours on boiling water and leaves if for a while an she swears its cooked- havnt tried it but if you have water and pasta may be worth a go

I used to do that with pasta & sauces. Contents of sachet + boiling water into a flask, seal, and 20 minutes later good hot lunch!
I went........turns out that I need to have a consultation first then she can write a 'script' to use during the actual hypnotherapy. She asked me lots of questions bout my eating habits etc! She seemed like a lovely woman, she explained how it all works and I felt comfortable with her so I'm going back a week tomorrow for the actual hypnotherapy bit. Figured might as well give it a go! And it's free :) she needs 'guinnea pigs' for her qualification. My friend had her session there and then as she wanted a past life regression, she said it was good and didn't seem weird.

Sounds good. Done past life regression too, and that is fascinating!

    Evening losers :D

Quick question & a bit odd coming from an experienced sw'er.

I have made a quiche and added about 2 he's of cheese and will have a slice each day for lunch. Now my question is do I count the cheese as tomorrows he's so making the rest of week free or do I do what I usually do and count each day as HEa even though theres nowhere near the amount for an HEa IYSWIM?
I remember asking a similar question when I went to class i.e. if I counted all the syns for a meal on the day it was made would any leftovers be free next day and being told I would still have to count syns the next day too which I couldn't get my head round. Still can't get my head round it now :rotfl: so any views would be welcome thanks :D

Have bought a schwartz slow cooker mix [sausage & bean casserole] and its all in the slowcook ready for the morning, am a bit concerned theres not enough liquid so just hope it not all dried up when I get home from work . Will let you know how I get on.

Also is anyone else slightly disappointed with this months mag, don't get me wrong I love all the recipes but I really look forward to reading all the motivational stories and there weren't many in it this month so yes I am slightly disappointed.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Evening all, what a wet/grey day!

Have had a cooked breccy to start with today - veggie bacon rasher (2) beans, toms, mushrooms, onions, sauce(2)

Lunch was a wholemeal pitta (HEB) with refried beans (fat free) with salsa and salad. Grapes/Melon to follow.

Dinner was veggie mince bolognaise and pasta, half a plate of steamed veggies and 28g soya cheese(HEA)

Have got a rice pud (HEA) but too full for anything else at the mo.

Jeans feel so tight but think thats just as had tea and been drinking loads of water today!

Not sure which meeting/WI I'll get to this week, am a right wanderer at the mo between different groups, once my original consultants back and weathers better I'll try to return to the village eve meeting . Will maybe go to WI Weds straight from work, but too tired/hungry to stay for WI so head home once weighed.

Part of me misses meetings but the other part does not! Have heard from another lady from the group that the cover consultant is quite sarcastic - told her ' what only put 3lb on over Christmas' in front of other members and that annoyed her, so don't feel I'm missing too much!

Really hope once I get to target I can keep the weight off without attending meetings, if I can do it before target I'd be happy but with still needing to lose 2 maybe 3 stone I'll stick to WI's at the mo:)

My legs ache from that half hour attempt at a run yesterday, wet today so not been out:o

Well after reading MiniMins all last night (how sad am I).
    Today was shopping and cooking.
    Breakfast - Cereal & Milk HEa & b
Lunch - Oops a shortbread, was out for coffee and had to have something. 5 syns
Tea - homemade mushroom soup, free. Peppered steak, veg, mushrooms, syn free chips. was supposed to add chicken stock to the mushrooms but a glass of red wine found its way into the pan instead : ) 3 syns (my share)
Snacks I also made the roulade cake, LUSH, 0.5 for the whole cake and I have cut it into 8, so will I have it all or share mmmmmm.......................Share : ) Loads of fruit in the cake BTW.

Oooh MRSM I think I have just 'found' you on Minimins!! We have posted on same thread! I am easy to find as my username is the same as here :rotfl:

    x
ooohhh I have found you too now :p Im a complete nelly as I saw your name over there and still never registered it was you :o :rotfl:
I like being a woman of mystery so I have a different name over there :p

Hellooooo to the newbies joining in

Well I have been a busy bee today -I made the huge vat of dynorod soup (or trumpy soup as its known in this house :D) -I had a bowl for dinner tonight and even worse hubby said he will give it a whirl :eek:so he is taking some for lunch tomorrow with home made bread.. my soup actually comes out solid and I have added some grated cheese on top of his so when he shoves it in the remoska at work it will go all bubbly ;).. THEN I have 4 x 1lt tubs of it in the fridge :T
I have also made tomorrows dinner so it can stand and develope... its a new recipe :- Asian aubergine + pork hotpot.... and it is scrummy - well you have to taste as you cook don't you :shhh:, once it is re-heated and finished off tomorrow I will share the recipe.... cor I like this way of eating :j

Take it eazy -if your cheese allowance isn't a full heA per serving you are "supposed" to syn the cheese instead but I guess if you know that the amount per portion is say 1/4 of a heA then I would count it as so and work a 3/4 heA serving in to my meal plan per day -if that makes sense :p

Well Im done eating for the day and as its my 1st day on EE Im not sure how I feel ... I know I haven't eaten all I pencilled in as I just haven't needed it so I have only used 8.5 syns -I did a rosemary lamb hot-pot for dinner and Twas gorgeous :T.... so I will see how I go for the rest of the week ;)

Right I had better get off -have a good night all

    Nope - I like them too :D

hurrah not just me then :D
Major change for me is getting up half an hour earlier to eat a proper breakfast - usually 28g cereal topped with M L yogurt and fruit instead of grabbing something like a chocolate bar or crisps at the newsagents on the way to work!

could you make it the night before and have it when you get to work?

a good on the go breakfast for me is 28g oatbran (heb) mixed with 1 egg and blueberries or grated apple, sweetener if you choose (I don't) and cinnamon, bake in the oven and you get a breakfast muffin - i put it in the little silicon muffin cases, delish with lf yog or on it's own if you're on the run

    yuck!

I've been on plan today, hurrah, late brunch of 3 quorn sausages, 3 scrambled eggs, mushrooms in frylite and chopped toms, and milk for teas (hea) later had 28g oats (heb), with lf yogurt banana and blueberries, snacked on some grapes, for dinner made tandoori chicken (low fat yog mixed with tandoori powder, marinated and then baked in the oven) and veg curry (onion, swede, chopped tomatoes, passatta and frozen spinach) and just had some onkon strawberry fat free yogurt with 28g bran flakes and more blueberries

no syns but that's ok because I had about a zillion or so on thursday night, am going to aim for a very low syn day tomorrow to in prep for WI on tue lunchtime.

so tomorrow will look like this:

breakfast: 28g bran flakes (heb), fat free yog, banana, (more) blueberries, milk for teas (hea)

lunch: 2 slices of SW quiche made with cottage cheese, quark, eggs, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, 5 scan bran (heb), 5 laughing cow extra light (will eat some at lunch and some later before I start second job)

dinner: shepperds pie topped with celeriac mash (1/4 tablespoon of cornflour which I need to syn) with carrots and green beans on the side

snacks: apple, more blueberries, options mint madness (2 syns) 2 satsumas, sugar snaps, mini carrots

so a red day for me tomorrow, as well as today :)

    Evening Lovelies :)

I ended up having a green day today (was supposed to be EE) but I had been 'neutral' til tea time & Mr Dizzy got an urge for an Indian takeaway ;)

But I was really good & made my own tea :A (polishes halo until sparkling) :D

so my day looks like this

Brekki Bacon (HEB) & Tom sarni in 1 slice wm HEB (large loaf) & banana milk for teas HEA

Lunch cous cous, egg, cucumber, tom, onion, from frais & mint sauce muller yog

Tea new pots, steam fresh veggie packsx2 gravy 2 syns 2 x activia yogs part frozen....nomnomnom

Syns gravy 2, penguin wafer 4.5, 1/2 giant green triangle quality street 4.5 (it had my name on it in the reduced bit in asda :o.......but I did share it with Mr Dizzy;))

so not too bad a day really.....and I'm really pleased with myself for not caving in & having a takeaway :T:j

Well Im off to see what rubbish is on the telly now, hope you're all having a good old SW evening :)
