Completely forgot it was gonna be down today, good job I went out I woulda been having withdrawal symptoms.
Had a bit of a chocolate finger binge this evening plus a 'few' toffees but as syns been lowish all week I am well within weekly syns so should be ok.
B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - nowt as was out
T - left over goulash/rice 'fried' off in pan to ensure well heated, had a few mouthful and persevered as much as I could but to be honest it was disgusting so threw it away. Having pineapple, melon, onken & meringue instead.
Snacks - choc fingers, toffees, pear
Syns - too many, good job I don't count them weekends :rotfl:
Anyone see that article about the signs of the zodiac changes due to the earths movement? I'm apparently now pisces instead of aries, I like being aries . There were originally 13 signs of the zodiac and they are reintroduciing the one they dropped.
Taken from the Greek word for 'serpent-bearer', the sign is portrayed by a man grasping the snake that is represented by the constellation Serpens. Ophiuchus was one of the 48 constellations proposed by Ptolemy in the second century. It was earlier known as Serpentarius, a Latin word for serpent-bearer.
The new sign will cover those born between Nov. 29 and Dec. 17 while Sagittarius will move into the 13 th position covering from Dec. 17 to Jan. 20. Some traits of those born in the sign of Ophiuchus are said to be honest, intellectual, sexually magnetic, prone to change and of course, jealous.

Sorry nothing to do with SW, I got carried away pmsl :rotfl:
How strange!! How can they just change the star signs?! That means I'm the new one...I don't want to be the new one, I can't even say it and being a horse lover I liked being sagittarius!!0 -
Hi to everyone, I have just found this thread
I started SW last year, and lost 3 st 10 lbs, almost got to my 4th stone then my class closed, and started travelling to a different one. From that point onwards I yo-yo'ed, every time I got nearer that 4 stone loss, I gained 1, then lost 1, stayed the same.. you know the pattern:(
Then I had a few weeks where I couldn't go.. and gained 8 lbs.. wasn't happy, so managed to lose that, and was back on track until the week before Christmas.
Then theings went pretty bad- there were big family problems over Christmas, and left me so down that I went to the fridge and ate...and I haven't stopped.
I wasn't able to get to class for the last few weeks as my car was off the road and it was an expensive repair. I am still feeling low ( trip to the docs looming) but I know that if I started getting some motivation back I'd probablyt start to feel a bit better about that side of things.
I am now worried about going back ( WI is on Fridays)
I even had take away with my daughter last night... not good!
I keep getting messages from my consultant ( who is lovely) asking me to come back.. but I'm not kidding when I say my jeans are tighter, and I look bloated, so i am sure I must have gained a stone.. I haven't even dared step on my own scales!!
I was doing so well, and need motivating big time. I know depression & diets don't alway mix well.. but my son bought me a Wii & all the board etc for Christmas, which i am loving
I jogged the race for life last year, and that was a real feat for me as I had had trouble getting up the stairs before I started SW.. and I vowed I would jog/run again this year, and wanted to do a 10k... but that seems a distant aim now!
Has anyone else had a really big gain over cristmas & holidays.. I am nervous about going and being weighed, but don;'t want to put on anymore after all that hard work last year.
Thank you for reading my waffling!!!
Hi Minxz
Welcome to the forum,
Im guilty of having a Mahooooosive gain over xmas & new year Thanks to a 4 week holiday in Mexico I came back 11 lbs heavier :o I went away fully intending to enjoy it....but I was a little gutted that after losing 2 stone before I went, I had let it go back on in such a grand style :rotfl:
My best advice to you is dont dwell on whats happened re the gain.....take the bull by the horns & get back to class NOW - the sooner you tackle it the better....and you will start to feel better too about yourselfx x
Keep posting on here.....its full of lovely people who will help with the motivation part of it I'm sure (it helped me loads when I re started after I had brain surgery and was unable to get out of the house much.....theyve stopped me going off track soooooo much)

Morning all :hello:
Some fantabulous losses this week :j Just think if we were an actual class instead of a virtual one - we'd be class swots every week!! :rotfl:
Happy Birthday Skintslimmer - have a good one
Minxz, welcome to the thread & good luck. Sound advice from sammyjammy & dizzy, you can do it!! Keep posting on here as I find it really helps me. I put on 9lbs over Christmas btw, stopped going to class & stopped posting on hereCompletely back on track now though with the help of these lovely peeps.
I'm having another green day today:
B - 2 chocolate weetabix (HEB + 2), banana, rasps, milk (half HEA)
L - the dreaded dynorod *parp*, 2 scanbran (2), 3 ex-light cheese triangles (half HEA), tomato
D - other half of Asda chickpea dahl, SW chips or baked spud??, pitta (HEB2). Pear, 2 clems
Really loving the chocolate weetabix for my brekkie, it's very filling & I don't find it too sweet, probably because of the tartness of the rasps.
Have a good SW day everyone :wave:0 -

Morning all, I'm a little blurry eyed after a late night last night!! Glad I didn't drink (well I had 2 vodkas so thats 8 syns!!!). The plan of having all SW friendly stuff at the chinese didn't quite work out as everyone wanted to get a few dishes and share between us all so I just went along with it. I think I probs had about 30-35 syns so over the week I'll still be well within my allowance as long as I stick to keeping them low for the rest of the week.
Green day today, not 100% sure exactly what I'll have for lunch but here's what I have in mind:
Brekkie - banana, pineapple, yogurt
Lunch - mushroom omlette, beans, tomatoes, maybe a HEA of cheese.
Tea - fish (HEB), sw chips, mushy peas, carrots, green beans, ketchup (2)
HEA - milk in teas
HEB2 - might have a slice of bread with tea to make a chip butty or I might change my lunch and have a nice cheese sandwich with my other HEA!
Fish and chips isn't really my idea of a sunday dinner but I'd got the fish out of the freezer and started soaking the peas for tea yesterday before we decided to go out so I've got to use them now! It was supposed to be slow cooked beef brisket which I'd much prefer!!0
