Not sure if you've sorted your access but mine works fine.
"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "
  • Decided on a green day today:

B - 2 chocolate weetabix (HEB + 2), rasps, banana, milk (half HEA)
L - mushroom scrambled egg (half HEA for splash of milk), 2 scanbran (2), 3 ex-light cheese triangles (half HEA), beans, microwaved tomato splat (left it in too long :o)
D - SW chips, Asda chickpea dahl, pitta (HEB2). Pear. 2 clems.

Seem to have eaten loads today!! The scanbran definitely benefitted from having the cheese triangles squished on them today before the beans were added. I would have done that yesterday but was on EE & couldn't 'afford' the HEAs!! :p

Will probably have a glass of wine tonight (6) but that's it for today :D

Well I went to my army fitness session and I have to say I hated the whole experience! I was the only new starter and no-one (not even the instructor) took the time to check I was ok. Considering I haven't done exercise since I was at school we started off by running and sprinting 350m but no-one said to me "we're going to run to that point over there" and as I had no idea what to expect I started to panic the further along we got :( I just felt myself thinking "If this is the warm up then there is no way I can do this" and almost quit there and then.

So after having a mild panic/asthma attack the instructor finally asked me what other exercise I'd been doing at which point I almost strangled him and said NONE! So yeh an hour later it was finally over, I felt crap, I was muddy and wet and I still don't know anyones name who was there, not even the instructor. Never again!

    Food wise! Green day today.

    Breakfast

    Weetabix Oatybar (HEB)

    Lunch
Pasta with tomato sauce and cheese (HEA)

    Dinner
Chicken (HEB) curry and rice (2 syns for curry paste)

    Snacks
Krispy Kreme doughnut (I deserve it!) 13.5 syns.

So that's 15.5 syns and one HEA and B.

Thanks for the syn value Vixie Pixie - will have to work it in rather than waste it!

The Lamb Dansak in the recent magazine is to DIE FOR! It's soooo yummy - even though the receipe said it was for 4 people it would have served 6 easily and was totally free on EE :D

Looking forward to the full roast chicken experience tomorrow - although our crap oven means we may not get roasties :(

I got the recipe from the Minimins site:

8 rashers bacon. cut into small pieces.
    bunch spring onion
    8 eggs
    2 tbsp milk from allowence
3 oz reduced fat cheddar cheese cubed small

fry with fry light bacon, for a few mins.
Add spring onion cook untill tender and bacon crispy.
    Pre heat grill.
beat eggs and milk together & pepper
    Reserve a little bacon.
Mix the rest into the eggs with spring onion and cheese.
    spray pan with buttery frylight.
Pour in mixture and cook gently without stirring for 5 -8 mins.
scatter over rest of bacon, and grill till golden.
    cut into 3 = 4 syns

I HEa the cheese and syn'ed the bacon (2)

It made 4 very generous portions. T'would be great for packed lunch either hot or cold and for the summer, when we are off in the campervan, would be brilliant to make before we leave.

    http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world-recipes/176399-chunky-bacon-cheese-frittata.html

I only did 3 rashers of bacon as I thought 8 sounded a lot and missed out the spring onions as I didn't have any.

To make sure there was enough veggies in my day I cooked 2 of the birdseye steam in the bag microwave thingies. broccoli/carrot and sweetcorn; and just added them to the mix.

Tasted so good I have been fighting DH off it all day just to make sure there is enough left for breakfast tomorrow.

BTW - the smoked mackerel is in the freezer
