  • Oh bum, forgot the forums were down today :(

dizzy, I had smoked haddock last night, it was ok but I wouldn't rush to have it again!! Did mine in a microwave bag so only took 2 minutes to cook.

I'm not sure what sort of day to have today - I was sulking a bit yesterday doing EE because of the 1 HEA/HEB rule :p Might have a green day - Asda chickpea dahl for dinner maybe??

Have a good day everyone
  • ps I'm having a fish pedicure and a haircut today - do you think I'll lose some weight as a result of it!!! :rotfl:

Oooh have fun!! I have really tickly feet so would probably kick the fish in the face when they started nibbling :rotfl:

If you do decide to have a break from group, you would have to pay the rejoining fee etc when you go back. You would also need to want to lose at least 7lbs (or be 7lbs above the lowest acceptable weight for your height).

I'm inclined to agree though with whoever it was (sorry can't remember) said you need group more when you're struggling or you could find the slope slippier than you ever imagined

Hi consultant31. thank you very much for your post and also to the other poster. very wise words indeed!! I shall be slinking back to group with my tail between my legs next week as without the motivation of my weekly weigh in on the sw scales, I feel kind of lost. :( I thought I would cope fine once I had decided to have a break but it just feels odd ? I have been going to class every week (apart from sickness/holidays) for over 3 years! so I guess to suddenly stop going is very strange indeed and I can't wait to get back !

I haven't had a particularly bad week so far but I am struggling and think that I would be silly to stop going to class.

Out of interest consultant31, can I still have mix to match days ? so a neutral breakfast, a green lunch and a red tea ? I know we have extra easy but I really struggle to get enough superfree on my plate and trying to manage with just one B option and one A option near on impossible ! Mix to match used to work really well for me - a jacket spud with salad and cheese at the pub for lunch and a steak and veg for tea plus the benefit of my 2he options and 2heb options. :j

I had Mr T deliver today and had lots of lovely healthy fruit and veg so today will be my last day off plan ! tomorrow its (back to) target and beyond :D

I am planning to make the sw lamb dhansk tomorrow :j and possibly a carrot and corriander soup :j
thank you for all your support

    Afternoon, glad to be back.

Had a lovely lie in this morning:D

    So had brunch - 2 x weetabix (B), coffee and milk (2A)
    Snack banana and an activia
Just making an early dinner now of Quorn burger (2.5), WM roll (B), ketchup (1), SW chips and beans.

Got a little milk left from my 2As at breakfast so will probably have a cup of tea with dinner.

Used both A+B and 3.5 syns with that lot. Will take fruit and yog to work and 2 x alpen and a kitkat to keep me going. So 15 syns in total;)

I'm not a fan of fish at all, but Mr Dizzy really likes it (and does in fairness eat most of the disaster 'experiments' that I put in front of him :o) and I think I did say I would eat it when he put it in the trolley I just hoped it would be a LOT later on in the month _pale_ :rotfl:

Green day today, not enough superfrees to justify EE, so ff yog plus fruit and some oats, HEb, stirred in for breakfast, d/r soup and leftover shepherd's pie for lunch, (only a tiny bit of mince in it and otherwise all free) and I'm not sure what for tea. Snacks: Alpen lights HEb2, fruit and drinks using HEa milk in tea and coffee.

Tea might be guess what, smoked haddock (sorry Dizzy!). I haven't had real fish for years, I used to buy fishcakes and fish in breadcrumbs because I found that easier to swallow, especially smothered in ketchup. I will probably syn a little bit of ketchup though.

Your fish pedicure flutterby sounds like heaven. Did you have to go to a specialist salon or the spa in Cardiff? Hope you enjoyed it, let us know .....?

PS Has anyone else seen the Jan/Feb issue of Morrison's magazine? There are some lovely low-fat recipes in there that could easily be tweaked to fit SW.
