I really don't like only having 1 HEA and HEB on EE
me too, that's why i prefer green days. however yestersday i ended up forgetting my second HEB so i guess it's more the A choices that I need!
I find it hard on a EE day not to use up HEA and B at breakfast!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Hello everyone, I missed yesterday as I ended up rushing about.... I had to find a dentist that spoke English as I have toothache.... found one and amazingly I was booked in for 4 hours later! And after shelling out nearly £100 for the pleasure of 1hr 40mins in the chair of pain I am teething (had other stuff done too)... at the ripe old age of 37 my wisdom teeth are coming through!
Anyway back to today...
EE day.
B - fritatta & salad plus blob chilli tom sauce (0.5)
L - roast veg & cous cous (1)
D - Slow cooker Beef Pepperpot (F) mash (2) veggies (F)
Snx - grapes (F) yoghurt (2)
Slow cooker saga.... 2nd try was ...soup...it was yuck yuck...I am going to find out some actual recipes, I think I'll have to learn how to cook all over again SC style instead of trying to make things up as I usually do. SO Beef Pepperpot is from an official recipe... so fingers crossed.
ALSO...

Good morning all
Well done on the losses folks :j and to those with itty bitty gains or sts -it will soon move again :T
Thanks for the lovely thoughts on the trek folks ... can't quite believe I have bitten the bullet and comitted to it ..no backing out now, Im excited and scared in equal measure I think
I have created a "just giving" page and will put it in my profile -so thankyou to those that have offered to donate :T... but please don't anyone think that, that is what Im after when I mention the trek ... I need you lot to keep me on track to get rid of the rest of this weight so I can actually complete and "enjoy" it...:j
I did my 1st attempt at the biggest loser 20min routine last night - had me looking like a sweaty beetroot-I really can't believe just how unfit I am
. I will be doing another routine later *gulp* -I did have to laugh though when it asks how long you want to workout for and 1 option is 60mins+
-jeese -they would need to supply a paramedic if I tried that.
It weighs you and asks your measurements (how rude) then creates a character... now THAT is NOT pretty to see, although it keeps you focussed
Well Im going for a green day today -only because I wanted a bowl of mushypeas n mintsauce for lunch-so it looks like this:-
- 250ml semi (A)
- mushy peas
- mint sauce
- frozen cherries
- frozen strawberries
- activia (2.5)
- grapefruit
- home made tomato sauce:-
- 1/4 tsp oil (0.5)
- fresh tomatoes
- red peppers
- onions
- garlic
- chili
- 28g chorizo (4)
- pasta
- peas
- sweetcorn
- 28g parmesan (B)
- 250ml semi (A)
- fibre plus bar (B)
- frozen mixed berries
- activia (2.5)
......
Right I will get off and get on with making some more jewellery...
Have a great day everyone and thankyou for all your support... keep up the great work everyone!!-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
:wave:morning all , well look at the wealther again today , gonna make some real comfort food today , soup , crips , dips , homemade syn free rice , ready for the weekend , and even some puds .
Good luck for those getting weighed today and those who sts or put on alittle yesterday , draw aline under it as today is another day , keep focused , it will show up next week as long as you stick to it , the weekend is always the danger zone , thats the hardest time for mexxx
I see you say you're making crisps.....will you be synning them? I made 'syn free' crisps a while back but they're not actually syn free as its misuse of free food so you have to syn the potato, its the same syns as it would be on a red day. Sorry0 -

Trixie, my SC hints to you would be:
NEVER add liquid unless you are trying to cook "hard" vegetables (carrot, swede etc), the steam will create enough liquid as things cook.
Vegetables:my vegetarian friend said vegetables and slow cookers just don't go together, she gave hers away!
ALWAYS give things a start in the m/wave or stove top, eg I always brown the onions, brown meat on the outside - it gets some real flavour in.
ALWAYS get everything hot before you put it into the SC, eg I will do the onions & meat in the m/wave then if I am using tinned toms I will heat them in a bowl before adding, etc. At this early stage of cooking you can keep lifting the lid to add more heated ingredients, then give it a stir and...
DO NOT PEEK FOR AT LEAST 6 HOURS (unless you are doing SC lasagne which only takes a couple of hours anyway)
These were recommendations from one of my slow cooker cookbooks when I first had a SC and I've always gone with them. Hope it helps.MRSMCAWBER wrote: »Good morning all

Afternoon all!
I was not particularly good last night (approx 5 glasses of wine:eek:) and I am definately suffering for it this morning. I did, however, resist the Burger King on the way home, and feeling rough this morning means I can't eat anything even if I wanted to! Got the whole weekend planned, and will be much healthier!
Should I be feeling better by the end of the day, I have a 1 syn home-made special fried rice in the fridge ready. I'm also surrounding myself with fruit in the hope that some of the goodness will magically transfer to me.
For tomorrow I am planning on cooking macaroni cheese stuffed peppers for lunch and and stirfry for dinner.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Hi all, well done to all losers!! I did another exercise DVD last night, I purposely chose the hardest one and did 30 mins of it (i've never managed to finish it, even when I was at my fittest I couldn't!!). Well I'm paying for it now, my back and shoulders are all achey from the boxercise bits but it feels gooooooood lol!!!
I had a huuuge tea last night! I made a chilli which I filled with superfree veggies, rice and a big bowl of HM salsa so I had a huge bowl of dinner that was basically a bit of beef mince (extra lean), a bit of rice and LOADS of superfree......I bet it was atleast 2/3rds and I was stuffed and felt soooooo good about it!!!
Today we're at my Mum's for tea, she lost all her weight with SW and still follows the basic principles so I'll be ok there!!
Oh and I must say a big thankyou to OWL, I tried the reheating scrambled egg idea today and it worked!! Was well yummy!!!
Green dya today:
brekkie - scrambled egg and beans (part HEA for milk in the egg)
Lunch - leftover rice, HM salsa, tuna (HEB), yogurt, pineapple, jelly (0.5)
Tea - stewed beef, veggies, small bit of potato, gravy (3). Probably won't have a pud.
Snacks - I have fruit if I need it.
Rest of HEA is milk in tea.
I'm also trying to drink more water as I only usually drink tea. I've told OH that he's to make me a glass of squash to have with tea every night (he always makes himself one but I always wait for a cuppa when we've eaten!) and I've had 1.5 large glasses of water at work so far today.
I've had 2 15min walks around plant so far today, I'll do 2 more later then I'll also go for a walk with my mum before tea. I WILL be at target when my wedding dress arrives (or nearly anyway.....I don't know exactly when its coming!!)0
