Well done for the losses people:j
Has anone tried Zumba fitness classes, I keep saying that sounds fun but I have not got much sense of rhythm and 2 left feet so worried I'll end up in a heap on the floor or with my poor fitness levels will not last the hour:o I still need to lose 2-3+ stone so will feel all self concious!
A class starts in the village school sports hall next Mon a miles walk each way so wondering if it's worth me trying it as I keep going on about trying to improve my fitness levels which are non existant currently!
Am sure I'll be worn out after a class and a days work, wonder how expensive it is?Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Wow, some amazing losses tonight! I was very disappointed as I only lost 0.5lbs this week. I followed the plan to the letter, synning everything that was meant to be and even fitted in some exercise. So I'm hoping that next week will be a very good loss to make up for it.
I did have a doughnut this evening for a pricely 16.5 syns but I deserved it. Didn't have any other syns and had a few left over from yday so it's alright.0 -
I lurrrrve my shiney stickers......such a child at heart still
lmao :rotfl::rotfl:
Im the same im looking forward to getting stickers and i appreciate people taking the time to clap for my benefit lol!!
When i first went many years ago i found it very embarrassing and 'fluffy' but now i love it!! I wonder if its because working with people who are very ill i am appreciating the simpler/smaller things in life that can make us feel good??!!“most people give up just as they are about to achieve success”If you think you are going through hell keep going - Sir Winston ChurchillIf You Can't Change It, Change the Way You Think About It.SW, 13st5lb, -4 1/2, -1,(12st13.5lbs)0 -

Skintslimmer wrote: »Dizzy - well done clever cloggs on your loss! As for scanky bran, you forget it makes a lovely carrot cake with weetabix tooPlus I find it useful for replacing broken ceiling tiles with :rotfl:
Even the birds wouldnt eat it when I put it out for them
Makes really good compost too :rotfl:Just like to say well done everyone who has lost weight and stayed the same :T:T:T.
And if you put on a little and have stayed to the diet feel like giving up or grabbing the nearest thing thats naughty and blowing it , please don't as all your hard work will show up next week .:grouphug:
There has been many times in the past when i have been planing everything , making everything from fresh , no packet stuff , lots of fruit , yogurts , kept a food log , wrote everything down in a pad i carried in my bag , made a shopping list and when i got home wrote every syn on my food in my cupboards , so i could just grab use and write it straight in my book , kepted a bag under my stairs and everytime i lost a lb i'd put something weighing the same in the bag and when i was really fed up go and pick that bag up as that would remind me of what i have lost and , spur me on .
And still not lost but the next week i have , and it can be down to the time of the month , stress , not anoth water or that you need to go back to basic , or it could just be that your body is used to the same foods you keep eating , try changing the foods you eat , say if you have fruit and a yogurt everyday for breakfast , try having beans on toast , if you stick to green days try mixing your days , red 1 day , green the next , then E/E then , red again , try really confusing your body , give it a good kick up the bum .
Thats some really good advice PEACHY.......
I totally agree some weeks you can be an :A yet it doesnt show on the scales?? but you can bet your life if you stick at it it shows the following week with an 'extra loss'
And I did exactly as you said a little while before we went away, I was getting a bit stagnant with my losses - so I shook things up a bit by eating things that I normally didnt have (fish - yack) lots of melon had rice or cous cous instead of spuds etc.....just confused my body a little. It worked tho as I has a 3lb loss when I was getting a bit fed up0 -

Also just a quick word to those that didn't see what they wanted on the scales, don't forget to measure yourself as sometimes the scales don't change but the inches do [don't ask me why but its true].Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Whats a flexi day?
Flexi days.... welll
supposing you want to go for a special night out, a meal. You know roughly what you want to eat (starter, main, pud) and you know you'd like a drink or two with your meal.
well a flexi day means you can do that - without feeling guilty.
you decide before you go how many drinks you are going to allow yourself etc - but you stop when you get to that amount i.e dont go stupid & have a massive binge....you may have had up to 60 syns that evening - but you've controlled it.
duirng the day before the meal you fill up on free foods (and lots of superfrees)
the day after the meal its straight back on plan....no guilty feelingsyou may not lose that week-it may be a sts - but the important thing is that you wont have fallen into the usual diet cycle of 'oh well I blew it last night so sod it I may as well eat what I want today as well.....and the next day, and the next
Its a really good idea for those special occasions where you dont really want to be 'doing without'0 -
