Well folks I have gone and done it.... I have registered to do this:-

    Trek Nepal

I have been waiting for it to be put on the website and I signed up and paid my registration fee this morning eek.gif - I just have to wait for my information pack now although they emailed me the itinerary yesterday *all excited* --now I just need to get set and raise the sponsorship -hubby is all set to help lilkiss.gif...
could you set up an online sponsorship page and if you did could you put the link here? If not the actual link you could kind of guide us to it :p I'd love to sponsor you
Why don't you write to head office and share your reasons for not liking the site? If enough people complain, I would think something would be done :)

Now there's a thought. thanks. Weeks ago I tried to find the Comments section that existed for a couple of months before the new website went "live" but that's vanished (or I can't find it). I wonder if online members do get more access than those of us who pay for a live group? It doesn't seem fair if so. Once I'm at target (half a pound to go) I probably won't bother with it again, I drag my way in weekly at the mo to enter my weight loss.
I'm struggling at the moment, been back at uni and struggling to take enough food with me to keep me going during the day! However i have decided to start getting a plain baked potato from the cafe and take my own measured cheese in with me. Don't know why i didnt think of doing it earlier:o
So today has gone a bit awry, but i'll be back on tomorrow.
If you like Lakelands butter buds you could also keep a stock of sachets with you, and sprinkle one over the potato and under the cheese!

I've just been out for a celebratory (upcoming birthday/broke up for 10 days leave) Indian meal and didn't try to be too good. It didn't cost much either as we used the funds from the office Swear Box (£30++)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Had my first experience of using Frylight tonight, for what was meant to be a dinner of SW chips, fried egg, quorn sausages and beans.

It turned out to be a dinner of slightly burnt SW chips, fried egg, 1 quorn sausage (dropped the other one), and I completely forgot the beans :rotfl:.

It was all still very tasty though :D.

    Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on this thread for a long time and even joined in once or twice but never fully committed to following the plan.

As of last week I joined a group because I'm really determind this time round. Summer is my inspiration!

It was my first weigh in tonight and I lost 1.5lbs. I know that could have been better but life got in the way once or twice :o Good thing was that when I did go off track a little I didn't carry on for the rest of the week. I have also cut out my beloved cheese altogether, I just can't stop at 28g!

    Extra Easy for me today:
Breakfast: 57g wholemeal (HEB), spicy beans, egg in frylite, brown sauce (1), mushrooms, banana, tea (HEA)
Lunch: Savoury rice, beetroot, pickled onion, lettuce, cucumber, apple, melon
Dinner: Pasta & sauce, chicken, beetroot, lettuce, cucmber,
    Snacks: Nescafe cappuccino ( 3.5)

Total of 4.5 syns. Want to keep them to a minimum because my mum is having little one on Saturday night and unsure of what we're doing yet :)

Hope everybody is doing well, I shall catch up on the thread a bit later.

Just like to say well done everyone who has lost weight and stayed the same :T:T:T.
And if you put on a little and have stayed to the diet feel like giving up or grabbing the nearest thing thats naughty and blowing it , please don't as all your hard work will show up next week .:grouphug:
There has been many times in the past when i have been planing everything , making everything from fresh , no packet stuff , lots of fruit , yogurts , kept a food log , wrote everything down in a pad i carried in my bag , made a shopping list and when i got home wrote every syn on my food in my cupboards , so i could just grab use and write it straight in my book , kepted a bag under my stairs and everytime i lost a lb i'd put something weighing the same in the bag and when i was really fed up go and pick that bag up as that would remind me of what i have lost and , spur me on .
And still not lost but the next week i have , and it can be down to the time of the month , stress , not anoth water or that you need to go back to basic , or it could just be that your body is used to the same foods you keep eating , try changing the foods you eat , say if you have fruit and a yogurt everyday for breakfast , try having beans on toast , if you stick to green days try mixing your days , red 1 day , green the next , then E/E then , red again , try really confusing your body , give it a good kick up the bum .

  • .....if you want a blow-out, it's better to have a (rare) Flexi day.
