I have a large red pepper and two small green peppers that need using up today. I thought I would do roast peppers to go with Roast chicken tonight.

Has anyone got any ideas what to drizzle over them to make them less boring. (syn free preferably) :)

I don't want to stuff them with anything

    Hi guys,

Haven't posted in a long time - been really busy at work & with Uni assignments - driving me nuts - but not towards the biscuit tin (its empty now from last week :rotfl:)

I have started this year as an EE year - to use up food in freezer - i can no long fit anything else in it!

Have set new targets moneywise this year as i need to pay off the dreaded credit cards - and to hopefully start saving for a holiday in America and a new sofa - i hate the one we have - so uncomfortable!

So there is actually a budget for my food shopping now £150-200 per month for me & DH and my Guinea Pigs (8) and rabbit!

STS this week (monday weigh in) - but i had to use the free £40 voucher for Old Orleans to treat myself & my friend on sunday as she has recently got engaged! :rotfl:

This week will be a better week - i have a page a day diary to write down everything i eat & for food planning

    Yesterday
B - Leftover cold rice mixed with ff fromage frais & frozen cherries
    S - Banana & Apple
L - Quorn swedish style meatballs with onion, mushroom, sweetcorn, chickpeas, tomatoes & tomato & herb mug shot
    S - Alpen Light bar (3)
D - Turkey, potato & spinach curry (with onions, mushrooms, peppers, kidney beans, mushy peas, tomatoes) served with sweet potato wedges - Plum
    S - Scan bran x 5 (heb) quark & options (2)
    Milk in coffee as hea

    Today
B - Bacon, spring onion, mushroom SW quiche
    S - Banana & grapes
    L - As yesterday
    S - Grapes, plums, apple
D - As yeterday but with jacket potato instead of sweet pot wedges
S - Scan bran x 5 (heb) with Quark & either options or lemon curd (2)
Milk (hea) will be in coffees

I hope to start posting more once i have got my Uni assignments completed (due tomorrow & still alot to do!) and i get a bit more time at work!

Well done everyone, keep up the good work x

How can we help with sponsorship? Group weight loss?

I done a sponsored slimming marathon last year - raised £400 for the SMILES charity - would love to help

Oh i forgot to say, my brother has joined with me now - we went to a completely new group on monday & i was shocked in the shear number of people that joined - i reckon there was 30!
I just hope my brother sticks to it & is as successful as you lovely lot on here.

spray with frylight then sprinkle with herbs? thyme is nice with chicken, and oregano is nice with peppers. Or a splash of balsamic after roasting??
