yesterday I asked about olive oil sprays instead of frylight, Ive come across an advert in this edition of sw magazine which says the Filippo Bero range has 2 cals per spray or less, the food optimising book says that any spray with 2calories or less per spray is free. Hope this helps someone
Also, Im sure I saw a "recipe" for mayoniase somewhere but cant find it now- I think it used yoghurt (or similar) and mustard and a few other things, does anyone know the one I mean or similar which is free or lower syn than hellmans?
thanks0 -
Morning srcumptious slimmers
I'm a bit gutted this morning as I have STSbut at least it's not a gain, I am really constipated due to codine, and I haven't been for a number 2 properly for days now, so think maybe that is part of the reason why???????

Morning all
Can I join you lovely slimmers?
I started slimming world last monday and lost 4.5lbs at WI this week :j:j
Have tried loads of diets before and have either failed straight away or lost some weight and then put more on pretty quickly after! I do feel that this 'eating plan' suits me better - i can eat loads - have not been hungry!!!
Anyway I want to lose about 3st in total give or take a few lbs!

Morning all,
Good luck for weigh ins tonight.. and welcome helenhelen:wave:
I've recently started to drink fruit teas (started with honey, lemon and ginger) but i'm struggling cos i find them quite bitter. I've had to add a sweetner to find them even remotely palatable. Dizzy - do normal fruit teas go bitter with boiling water as well or is it just green tea? i just find they taste a bit watery and look like wee
I drink too much Diet Coke and i hoped i could swap at least a couple of drinks a day with the fruit teas! I will carry on and convince myself i like them though!:DMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I dont like the honey/lemon and ginger teas either, have you tried the fruity ones, raspberry/cranberry etc, twinnings do a good variety and you can buy a selection pack to try a few flavours first, also the peppermint teas are ok as well0

I've tried the peppermint ones, i had them when i had tummy issues to help calm it - not keen really! Are the fruity ones a bit sweeter?
I love honey, lemon and ginger when i make it myself when i have a poorly throat so i thought these ones would make a good start. Just disappointing really, i thought they'd be nicer! :rotfl:
i'll get a variety pack and see if i can find one i like.. thanks 1jimMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Well done everyone on the losses! Don't worry about a STS Don't know, you'll find once you're back to normal that it does make a difference!
WI day today, and I also had a mini triumph this morning! I got into my US size 4 (roughly a size 8) jeans!! I am very happy! I bought them in the US as my "goal jeans" in Nov. Ok so they're a little snug, but I'm wearing them! Really hoping to lose at least 2lb tonight, hopefully 3lb. 2lb will be my 2.5 stone award and 3lb will be my upper target! I then plan on not paying whilst I lose 3lb then will reset my target to 7lb less (The MSE way to SW!). Should work out cheaper.
Menu today is Green.
Lunch
Low fat supernoodles
Dinner
Spaghetti bolognaise (using mince as 2HEB [more like 1.5 but better to go over])
Snacks
I'm munching on grapes at the moment
Syns will depend on how the WI goes, but there may be doughnuts involved.0 -
